Re: Arnold Palmer Inv.~ Golf Superb tournament yet again, nearly all of the top players turn up for a change. Unusually i'm going for an outright winner this week as i think Phil Mickelson is great value compared to most weeks, obviously Tiger being here is responsible for that but i'm against him in this one. In fact i'm going to do the unthinkable and Lay Woods, usually got out of trouble when laying him in the past so will take a chance. Top European market is interesting, Luke Donald all season has been around 4/1, this week we get 6/1 and bigger but SOdds pay 4 places so thats where i'm heading, thats such an edge they are giving us it would be foolish to ignore it. Donald was very tired when i saw him last, a couple of weeks off will have refreshed him and i expect better things now. Also like the price of Karlsson at 22/1, again bigger in some places, he looked very good when last on the US tour and went into my notebook for a future event over there. It seems that itll be important to hit the fairways this week and not so important about the distances due to the thick roughs and the low par (70). Re: Arnold Palmer Inv.~ Golf TOP 10 Finish ROBERT ALLENBY 2/1 Paddy Power FIVE starts on US Tour this season, FIVE top 10 finishes, amazing. 2/1 looks a good price this week for him to do it again, won't back him for win purposes as he simply chokes when in a winning position. Iron shots and putting has been exceptional in recent weeks and he said in interview two weeks ago he is very confident of a very successful year. I personally cannot see him outside the top 10.
