Re: Newbury 13/12 Newbury 12.15 : Marodima This is a race where the first 3 in the betting are all jumping for the first time in public, admittedly all from respected yards and all look to have a future, but the fact is that the chances are that at least one of them wont be spot on first time so this theory leaves the door open for another horse to get into the frame. Marodima has already shown a decent level of form and i know that the trainer thinks a lot of him as does Leighton Aspel, disappointed slightly at Leicester but the ground was heavy and the winner looks decent and couldnt get a lead to settle him. With a biggish field tomorrow should get the race run to suit and will be staying on when maybe some of the others will be struggling for fitness. (RP 7/1) __________________
