Cause theres value in given odds, AIK without a loss at home, Leksand with one win from five games away. In the long run Leksand will be ahead of AIK and I think Leksand is the better team, but AIK have started strong and Leksand weak, although maybe AIK:s form going down slightly and Leksands form going up. AIK always hard to beat in Stockholm, and I expect this to be a close game, and if AIK:s keeper can keep his excellent record and AIK don´t get too many penalties, they may well get three points here. Pick: Björklöven dnb 1,86. I make my own dnb with 22,5 % on X at 4,60 (Bet365) and 77,5 % on 2 at 2,40 (Nordicbet). Björklöven has been kind of a mystery: Great at home but really poor away, they have lost their 3 latest awaygames. Tonight newcomer DeFauw plays his first game for Björklöven, he was very important with 39 pts and + 21 for Växjö two seasons ago. Bofors have traditionally been a strong hometeam, but this season they have the record 0-1-3 9-16 at home. Played a good game against Leksand away last round, but lost 4-3 in the end.

I think Bofors are weaker than previous seasons, and the new rules does them no favours, they are somewhat slow in the defence, and Björklöven with their speed should be able to take advantage of that. However, with Björklövens shaky awaystats, I choose dnb, I don´t trust them enough to bet straight awaywin.

Re: Euro Ice Hockey Leagues (24-31/10) Well i really don´t have much knowledge about Allsvenskan, but looking at todays schedule i find two picks very interesting. AIK - Leksands IF 3,80@AIK win and 2,00@AIK 1X looks very promising. I mean AIK is without defeat at home, so why such high odds?! Södertälje SK - Rögle BK Also like Rogle away win@3,20 and a more secure X2@1,95. It looks to me, that Rogle is out of this world in the Alsvenskan league with 9-0 record, so definetly worth to try. But like i said, i´ll wait till later, for some valuable info from fellow forum members.

Pick: X2, 1,95 (Nordicbet)

Sundsvall is a strong hometeam, 2-2-0, but lost against Huddinge after o.t. last game. They have injury problems, 4 players out before last game (lost to Västerås away, 1-4), two defenders and two attackers, before this game one palyer is added to the list, attacker Tommy Enström. With a thin roster this creates problems of course, and they are struggling right now.

Hammarby has 1-1-3 14-30 away, with the game against Södertälje being the only “disaster”, lost 2-10. Their only victory was against Leksand, oddly enough. No injury problems as far as I know. If you look at Hammarbys stats, yuoll find that they loose with one goal, and they have shaped up their defence dramatically since the Södertälje game. I watched AIK beat Hamamrby 2-1 last week, and I was pretty impressed with Hammarbys matchplan and how they kept to it. Södertälje SK - Rögle BK Also like Rogle away win@3,20 and a more secure X2@1,95. It looks to me, that Rogle is out of this world in the Alsvenskan league with 9-0 record, so definetly worth to try. But like i said, i´ll wait till later, for some valuable info from fellow forum members.
I find some value in Rögles odds, but they will loose sooner or later, and this game would certainly be a good guess. SSK have been a bit unlycky the two latest games, and they are a strong team, certainly with a good chanse to win this game. But odds on SSK is far too low, so no bet for me.

Re: Euro Ice Hockey Leagues (24-31/10) Short comment on the short odds on Leksand and Södertälje for those who are a bit unfamiliar with these teams. The story is that these two teams were relegated from Elitserien last season. Both teams had good starts to the season but have now started to collect some losses. Because of their "fame" and strength on the roster the bookies expect many to bet on them - but with those odds I'm not.

Re: Euro Ice Hockey Leagues (24-31/10) Well (i´m sorry for the late writing, because the games are already begun) i finally decided for a system 2/3, with following pairings AIK - Leksands IF [email protected] Bofors IK - IF Björklöven [email protected] (purely on G:G suggestion and Bamses recognition) Södertälje SK - Rögle BK [email protected] Took all games in double signs, because the lack of knowledge in this league and still found the odds very satisfying. So far not looking so bad :hope:hope EDIT: Well got 2 of 3, and almost covered my bet. Looks like the next time will be interesting to play some overs/unders.

Kalpa won last match against Pelicans, but that was only because Pelicans thought it was funnier to take match penalties and sit in penalty box.. Talk about coming into a game with the wrong attitude :spank Furthermore, h2h's show that Kalpa never have won against Saipa in 5 matches, so I really can't understand the high odds for Saipas win. So this should be today's banker.. ;)

IMO a ridicoulusly high odds for a home win... The odds means that Ässät has a 26% chance of winning this game, I really think that the chance is higher therefore I will play this pick everyday ;) h2h shows also that Ässät has been able to win here with a far better percentage that 26 %... TPS to win over Kärpät 4.2@betfair. This should be a really tight game and it can go either way, but considering the odds given for TPS win I'll play. Have to point out that these are value bets and I don't expect them to win everyday, but in the long run these bets sholud show a profit because of the wrong pricing, IMO ;) Cheers:cheers

Backlund, who has been excellent, out, and Asplund will play his first game of the season. Besides that Timrå look a bit tired, due to injurys they rely on only five defensive players, and they look a bit tired now. According to their fansite they need a break. Maybe Mora incl ot at 2,25 (Bet365) have some value ?

I'm thinking of going for a straight Mora win 2.84@betfair at the moment, but I think the odds will rise... So if gets near 3 it's definitely worth a punt... Let us know if you get some more info.. :ok

I think that HIFK, Kärpät, under on Mora-match looks dangerous at first sight, especially the under because of G:G's post that Timrå will let their backup goalie play... Kärpät game because it's gonna be a tight game and the odds for a Kärpät win is far to short.. HIFK game because last time Pelicans won 10-1 at home and the last game against Kalpa they just fought and took penalties and lost because of that, so it doesn't reflect their form... Djurgården is strong at home, so it maybe is worthwhile.. The other matches I can't say anything about because I don't follow the leagues...

Re: Euro Ice Hockey Leagues (24-31/10) Two bets in Elitserien. Djurgården - Färjestad The home team get almost all their points at home as they are perhaps the worst road team in Sweden. In the last game they managed to turn 0-1 to 3-1 against Modo. The game was completely without tempo and it was not until the third period that Modo scored. Färjestad are as most know the reigning champs of Sweden and have been somewhat inconsistent so far. In the last game they impressed and beat Linköping 3-1 after controlling the game in a great way. I think that Färjestad will like this sort of game. If the game against Linköping was a sign that they are reaching their normal standard then DIF are in for a very tough game. Concerning H2H Färjestad have a massive grip on DIF. FÄRJESTAD @ 2.25 betsafe 4/10 :hope ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ HV71 - Frölunda The away team here has had a very rough start and are just starting to show some good play. Their strength in the years before have been their defensive. This has actually been working great in the last games and 5/5 last games have gone under 5.5. They now have the defense needed to compete with the best and they also have a great goalie in Joel Gistedt. The offensive is still not tip-top but all the better when you bet on under. HV71 are fairly strong now after a slow start. Their defensive was also bad and they had a problem with the goalie - Scott Langkow who has been a disappointment. After they changed him for Ersberg they have had a better defensive and in the last 5 games 3 have gone under. In the last game at home they won 3-0 against Mora who normally manage to score 2-3 on almost anyone thanks to Brendl among others. UNDER 5.5 @ 1.95 bet365 4/10 :hope

Krefeld Pinguine - Augsburger Panther Think that the home team here have had a pretty good trend going on of late and are starting to find some nice form. Theye are currently 11th in the table with 1-2-3 record at home but in the last 3 games they have 3 wins (whereof 1 in OT): 5-1 against Nürnberg, 6-5 against Hannover and 5-1 against Hamburg. The away team are last in the table with a 1-1-5 record away from home and a GD of 17-30. They had lost 5 games in a row when they managed to beat Kölner Haie at home 4-3 after OT. In this game the Panthers are back on the road and should have a really tough time with Krefeld who I think have found good momentum now. Krefeld @ 1.80 expekt 4/10 :hope
