Well lets find out. On the Sky Sports website they do a review for the Premiership games. With every review they give a prediction. This is going to test how good they are. Using two seperate banks Im going to back their predictions in Level Stake singles. One bank will be backing just the outcome, the other will be on the predicted score. This is completly untested so please either dont follow to start with or do so with extreme caution. Bets will be placed with the best price found. Re: What Do Sky Sports Know?? I suspect these "experts" when making their tips, wouldn't take into account of the odds. All these guys are doing is saying who they'll think will win, draw or lose. In no way do they show value in their tips, if they gave a percentage of a team winning or losing then it would be different. Which lead me to a system which could be tried. If you collected tips from 100 or so of these "experts" and put them in bins of which way the result will go, you'd have a percentage that these 100 tipsters are giving a certain result. For example lets say 57 out of 100 of the selected tipsters say Man Utd will win against Arsenal on Sunday, from that you can gain a fair odds of 1.75 according to the tipsters. If these guys are that much better than us, a sample size of 100 would be more accurate than say Lawro on his own, or the sky tipsters. What do you think WFTE?

Im just interested in how accurate their predictions are rather than value bets etc. On the same part as the previews it has a poll option on the result. When you vote it gives you the current standings in %. I was thinking of maybe using this as it'd be a view of the public but unfortunatly it only gives a % and no mention ofhow many votes so no idea on how true a picture it gives.
