Mind you, only got my September copy on Saturday, after emailing the Editor, and then ringing their Subscription Bureau... Gary at the Subs Bureau said he would pop a copy of September's in the post, and add on 1 month to my sub as compensation for not receiving September's copy when I should have done....The guy was so helpful I didnt have the heart to tell him that I picked up September's in Stanley's Casino in Redcliffe a couple of weeks ago... I have to go to an Employment Agency at 2.30 today, which luckily, is a stone's throw from Stanley's...Guess where I shall pick up the October edition ? Inside Edge certainly seem to be having on going problems with their subscription management...I have never had any problems with their sister mag., Poker Player, which always arrives on time... Alun, What seems to be the problem with Inside Edge subscription copies not reaching us ? I presume its the same company that looks after the subs of both PokerPlayer and Inside Edge ? Often some interesting points of view, and a few good ideas to nick ;) I met a couple of you lot on the Mansion England Paraguay game I think. Too much beer that day to remember too clearly. As to sending the mags out together. This just isn't practical I'm afraid as they are printed at different times and have separate readerships. Not a lot we can do once players are registered - although non-UK players are not going to be at the grand final. And we are trying to make it harder for non mag players to enter. Any ideas welcome on that regard. Keep the big picture in mind too. Big night out and some top prizes at the grand final. $25 for 9th pales a bit in comparison. Most of the players are American too...... although $25 for 9th isn't a lot, the $500 for 1st isn't to be sniffed at!!! And it will almost certainly go to a "non eligible" player..... Are the Americans who qualify for the final not eligible, or do they just have to pay their own travel expenses? I rang the Subs Bureau, and spoke to a helpful guy called Elliott, who has arranged for a replacement to be sent out, and also for all future subs copies to be sent to me in brown packaging, as opposed to the normal see through poly bag...
