  1. Re: **Poker Sunday 6th January** Had a look and found that I was pre registered. I appear to have lost interest in poker of late and this will probably be the last game I play until I regain interest.
  2. Re: ** Poker Wednesday 21st of November ** Will spend the evening watching some football game on TV. What would happen if the 'no poker' option was to be top option in the poll for focus game? :rollin
  3. Re: ** Poker Tuesday 13th November ** This is what the magazine editor wrote on their forum a couple of weeks ago: Hi all Not quite sure how the Hungarians got in, but we're going to have a measure up to combat them next time. We'll put that only UK and Ireland players are allowed and all cash will be taken from anyone outside of these territories and awarded to the next spot down. The home game will never go overseas. Hope this helps and if anyone ever sees passwords being posted on the net, can you let me know and I'll try to do something to combat it. Out of interest, PokerStars

    New job

Re: New job Received the latest issue yesterday and glanced at it last night, one thing I noticed is an obvious mistake on page 69. One of the first things I learnt when I started playing poker was that the chances of your first card dealt being an ace was 1 in 13, and the second being an ace was 1 in 17, so the odds of being dealt pocket aces is 1 in 221 or 220-1 against. The article on page 69 states the odds as 12-1 against and 16-1 against and states that 'of every 193 hands dealt, only 1 will be A-A and the remaining 192 will not'.
  5. Re: GaF's Nothing to Something thread (Current Bank €542.75) It would be interesting to work out how much you have paid in rake so far. I mention this as poker.com are having a special offer this week where the rake on STT's is halved, ie a $20 + $2 STT is $20 + $1 for one week.
  6. Re: Virgin Zee Magazine Freeroll - Possible HUGE value Out 18th, my AK lost to QQ - no complaints.
  7. Re: Virgin Zee Magazine Freeroll - Possible HUGE value Think I made it inside the 10 minutes from the last post!
  8. Re: Blue Square Bubble Freeroll Sent my entry with my screen name, table number and time as usual and got this reply: I can confirm that I am unable to access your account from the information provided, could you please forward an account number or username? Alternatively, if you do not have these details to hand, please supply us with your full name and postcode. Sent my account number and they have added me to the tournament. First time I've had that problem.
  9. Re: InsidePoker and PokerPlayer Subs Another way of looking at it is to compare the subs to the prizes they offer for their freerolls. The game this week on Paradise that glceud won had €7000 in the prize fund with 142 entries, the value of this alone (£30+) is more than the annual subs.
  10. Re: ** Poker Friday 26th October ** Managed to get knocked out of both games in the first 15 minutes. Pocket Jacks on one table, Pocket Kings on the other and both lost!!!
  11. Re: Bet365 moves it ipoker. Freeroll tournaments
  12. Re: ** Poker Monday 15th October ** I played the Blue Square tournament and was knocked out 5 minutes before this game started so was able to play, if I had still been in B S then I would have had to sit out this game (can't have 2 ipoker sites open at the same time).
  13. Re: ** Poker Monday 15th October ** They change the payout, the other day I finished 15th and only got my $5 back, only the top 10 got paid more.
  14. Re: ** Poker Monday 15th October ** Finished 218th, beaten by flush on river :cry At least I got my money back!
  15. Read this somewhere: The winners real name is a sister of Mark Telscher and both him and his "sister" played in the same event under the same IP. And they suspect that he played 2 accounts in that event.. "The investigation into the WCOOP Main Event has now been concluded. We have determined, based on the totality of evidence, that the tournament winner 'TheV0id', was in breach of the PokerStars Terms of Service. In the interests of Game Integrity, 'TheV0id' has been disqualified from first place. All other WCOOP Main Event prizewinners in addition to the player who originally bu
