Used to be loads of us all mates going to the footie avin a drink before the game then going to the game and singin yer arts out Now for one reason or another ( ticket prices, sharing season tickets etc ) there is hardly any of us left. Hardly ever all there at the same game. for me that build up to the game a drink with your mates is a big big part of the match going experience and its gone ( maybe forever ) its no longer a working mans sport :( still luv my team supported them since 1958 when i was 7 yrs old in short trousers but its not the same anymore. No atmosphere in ground ( loads of people with mobile phones in their hands more interested in taking pics than singing. Too many prima donna overpaid players who think they are better than they really are. so one of my wishes for 2012 would be give football back to the working man.
