avongirl
It's around this time of month that I usually get a few extra cents in my SO a/c, which after previous discussion on here we have decided is rakeback. However when I've checked my balance after CL tonight I am actually 50c down. Anyone else noticed this? I am used to the total fluctuating by the odd cent (usually up tbh), but not this much. Seems this month's rakeback might be a takeback? :unsure
Valiant23
Re: Sporting Odds Monthly Rakeback No mate mine looks 'normal'. As regards the cents here and there, that is due to your balance being 'exchanged' into $$'s every time you fire up SO, honest. :ok There was a long time, where there was a bug that just took pennies off you, but now they claim to have fixed it.... :unsure
Tax_Monkey
Re: Sporting Odds Monthly Rakeback I'm down a comparable amount to Avon (about 30c). :( Like Valiant I've always thought it was to do with exchange rates. This ties in as when I withdrew a week or to ago the exchange rate was something like £1-$1.89 but this week it is £1-$1.80 (approximate figures). robilaruk
Re: Sporting Odds Monthly Rakeback feck it - $42.08 'less' than yesterday I can't believe I have lost so much money exchange rate has gone from 1.873 to 1.8495 Damo
Valiant23
Re: Sporting Odds Monthly Rakeback Hmm, I posted a while ago about the change in the way that SO paid winnings, and someone (Avon?) was told that winnings are now being paid 'within 24hrs'. I think it stinks and thought it would be a matter of time before they started cocking it up. I do however think it is a separate problem to the odd penny here or there. Quite frankly its ridiculous, but Boss Media are a law unto themselves aren't they.:@

Griff
Re: Sporting Odds Monthly Rakeback I could have swore that my account was down by $10 or so yesterday. This explanation has put my mind at rest somewhat. Its not so nice to see my balance reduced but having a lower exchange rate is now a good thing for future winnings isnt it? Hedonist
Re: Sporting Odds Monthly Rakeback I deposited there in pounds sterling and my balance is unchanged in the sportsbook, but when it is converted into dollars for the poker room I am $4 down on the last time I looked. I hope this means I will get more pounds when I withdraw cash from sites I have deposited in dollars!
Valiant23
Re: Sporting Odds Monthly Rakeback Guys, with these larger discrepencies I really would suggest you contact Sp odds as soon as you see them.
-ed-
Re: Sporting Odds Monthly Rakeback Guys' date=' with these larger discrepencies I really would suggest you contact Sp odds as soon as you see them.[/quote'] It is all about the exchange, no need to panic guys. If you check your balance via your account on the SO website (money in here is shown in pounds sterling) you will find that the amount is exactly the same as it was before your poker room dollar balance dropped. :loon :ok
