Tampa Bay Devil Rays @ Boston Red Sox Devil Rays 3.7 (Pinnacle) 3 units BOS: RHP Curt Schilling (3-0, 1.64 ERA) TB: RHP Doug Waechter (0-0, 3.72 ERA) A dog of the day for me. Couldn't pass up on such a huge odd for Tampa. Granted Schilling has started really impressive, but is opposed by the best pitcher of the Rays lineup. Waechter has also been very solid. In his last start he allowed only 1 run in 6 innings of work last wednesday against the O's. Waechter has made five career starts against the Red Sox, and he has a 1-1 record with a 5.04 ERA. The Rays are 3-1 in games he has started against the Red Sox. Schilling 7-4 with a 4.02 ERA and two saves in 15 career appearances against the Rays. Ofcourse, Red Sox are a great team with a lot of firepower and they are on a 4 game winning streak, but have some injuries like Lead-off man Coco Crisp. I just think 3.7 is not justified, given Tampa has played pretty good baseball this season. Lots of fast base runners and they are swinging the bats quite well also. Washington Nationals @ Philadelphia Phillies Phillies -1.5 2.58 (Pinnacle) 5 units WAS: RHP Livan Hernandez (1-2, 7.00 ERA) PHI: RHP Gavin Floyd (1-1, 6.23 ERA) Phillies are off to a horrible start at home this season, going 1-6 in first 7 games. They were pretty good at road so far, but lost again at home to Nats yesterday. Phillies team has a lot of talent and should be in contention for the NL east title this year. This is a good spot for revenge. I'm hoping the philles bats will start producing tonight against Hernandez, who looked quite bad in his last start against the Mets. Hw gave up four home runs and eight runs total in six innings. Cliff Floyd was quite good in his last start @ Atlanta going 6 innings and allowing 5 hits and 3 runs. He is a young pitcher with quite limited MLB experience. Floyd is 1-1 with a 3.46 ERA in three career games against the Nationals. Hernandez is 9-7 with a 3.18 ERA against Phillies in 22 starts. San Fransisco Giants @ Arizona Diamondbacks D'Backs -1.5 2.56 (Pinnacle) 8 units SF: RHP Matt Cain (0-1, 5.73 ERA) ARI: RHP Brandon Webb (1-0, 2.14 ERA) Two words: Brandon Webb. This masterful pitcher is making his 100th start in the majors. He has been very good this season posting a 2.14 ERA in 21 innings of work. He is a contact pitcher inducing a lot of groundballs. Pretty amazing ground/flyball ratio 4/1 so far in the season. Giants starter McCain is very young and inexperienced pitcher in the majors. He has been roughed for 7 runs in 11 pitched innings this season and has a ERA of 5.73. He looks to be in pretty poor early season form. Altough McCain has been very good last season in road matches and against Arizona, i have to go with the Webb and D'Backs team who has more firepower. Giants batting is below average especially now when Bonds are struggling to hit homeruns. He hasn't managed any this season, a couple of shots to warning track being the best he could do so far. Age and stereoid ban is starting to show in his performances.

Re: Mlb 19/4 Im plumping with seattle - texas over 8 and cubs - dodgers over 7.5 both 1.83. 100 pt double. Ive never been struck with moyer , even though he is off to a good start.AND millwood is yet to show his best stuff. Both teams have power on their night. The cubs and the dodgers have to hit at somepoint! Marshall is still learning and Penny is not as good as his 1.5 era suggests.Hes good but not that good.
