ThePro19
As I've mentioned in another thread before, I'm having problems registering on Spin Palace. Whenever I click on 'Register Now', all that comes back is an error message saying "System error: An illegal operation has been performed". I have contacted support, but they can't seem to help. They have just sent me this email... -------------------------------------------------------------------- Thank you for emailing Spin Palace Poker. Kindly be advised that your personal firewall could be the main cause that you are not able to connect or register a Poker account. We would like to recommend that you please disconnect your personal firewall and then retry registering an account again. We trust that we have been of assistance. Should you require any further assistance, please feel free to contact our friendly helpdesk 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Kind regards, --------------------------------------------------------------- I don't believe this is right. I use ZoneAlarm firewall, and EVERY other site works perfectly fine. Does anyone else use a firewall (particularly ZoneAlarm) and not have problems with Spin Palace? And anyway, I allow Spin Palace traffic throught the firewall anyway. Anyone any ideas? 6ooner
Re: Spin Palace Poker I use Zone-Alarm, it never really gives a problem but always asks if I get an update from pokerstars and it did give me a lot of hassle with pacific poker, but it only generally comes up with the pop-up asking if I'd allow the connection, I just click the 'always allow' box. It's still on my old PC so if you give me the link I'll try it when I get home.

I don't believe the firewall to be the problem, but I just need someone else to prove it for me. Thanks 6ooner.
6ooner
Re: Spin Palace Poker OK, it downloaded fine and runs fine. Zone alarm did come up with the usual 'do you want to allow' message but no other problems. Is that enough or do you need me to go further, it's not a problem but I'm doing it by remote-woman-at-home method so we have to go step by step ;)
6ooner
Re: Spin Palace Poker Sorry, it did fire up the register account and start accepting details.

Valiant23
Re: Spin Palace Poker Pro, I did have similar problems with Zone Alarm and a Prima skin (Bet365 - bloody cowboys ;) ). For some reason it blocked just that one skin from connecting - although other prima sites were okay.:\ Dunno what to suggest other than 'manual permissions' or disabling ZA then trying to download. :unsure
ThePro19
Re: Spin Palace Poker Thank for your help guys. I'll try closing ZoneAlarm and then downloading and registering. If that works, then I'll start ZoneAlarm up again.
