THE % MAN Posted March 2, 2006 Share Posted March 2, 2006 I was thinking of putting up 3 horses a race in handicaps on SATURDAYS ONLY based on a comp program I use now and then and wondered if anybody would be interested as it takes time to do and i don't want to waste my time. It does throw up the winner in its first 2 selections on a regular basis and that was something I was going to point out if their was any interest in me doing it.Their is about between 1 and 2 hours of my time to do the calcalations and if their is not much interest in it why should I bother.Also their are no garantees that it will work,but thought it might something different Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

THE FIRST NUMBER AFTER EACH TIME IS THE LIKELY WINNER For forcasts exactas or tricast I surgest an 80% of the stake going on the forcast or exacta which ever you prefer and 20% of the stake going on the tricast EXAMPLE 6X40P COMBINATION F/CAST OR EX. 6X10P COMBINATION TRICAST,3 POUNDS PER RACE There as been no back checking done on this idea and it could be rubbish so take care if you wish to follow it.The ones above are for todays races and HOPE THEY MAY SHOW A FORCAST AT LEAST. Like i said before the program used for this was to try and pick the winner of a HANDICAP race and nothing else, it was my idea to see if it could do more. The order they are in after the time is the best chance of a win (Ling 1.20nos 8,5,11.) as no8 would be in this race. I will still use 3pts a race as before and see if it does better today. THE % MAN Posted March 5, 2006 Author Share Posted March 5, 2006 Re: Forcast Tricast Exactas Well it did hit 2 forcast today at 25.17pts and 25.91 pts and 40% of that was a return of 20.40pts and with an out lay of 48pts a loss of 17.6pts. What I also looked at was how many winners it threw up in all the numbers stated and it gave 11 winners. The program states it should throw up well over a thousand winners a year from its top 2 rated and today 5 of the 11 won. As for the f/cast I think you would have to average 1 in 4 to show a profit but that does not mean you might not hit a big one. The downside to the program is its trying to find the winner and the ones it picks tend to be in the 2/1 to 12/1 range and we all no that maybe the winner as a good chance of being one of those but how many times is the other horse above those Sps. I will keep paper trailing it through March on a Sat or anyday that i can.If all the winners had been backed at 1pt the return would have been 56.8pts a +8.8pts ROI. I sure to have any success you need at least 2 forcast per day or only use the races that are likely to find a big one.Also today out of all the selections their were w8/1,w5/1,2nd5/1,2nd10/1,3rd6/1, 2nd4/1, 3rd16/1, 3rd16/1,3rd13/2.
