There's a newspaper I like to buy for the racing section and as proved at Sandown and Worcester with the winners we've had it can be worth following. The selections are horse down in weight and in some instances down a grade or 2. if the price is above 5's Ill do then E/W if less than 5's It will be win only. Stake is 2 pt for win 1 pt e/w. Todays selections: AYR: 3.40 Falchion (won off 106 is down 19lbs to 87) 12/1 backed from 25/1:loon 1pt E/W 3.40 Behaving badly (20lbs) 1pt E/W PLUMPTON: 4.25 Spring grove (down 17lbs)+has 7lb claimer also is down 2 grades 8/1 1pt E/W WOLVE: 1.55 Everest (10lbs) 9/2 2pts win 1.55 Scottish river (10lbs) 12/1 1pts E/W 1.55 Buscador (6lbs) 11/2 1pt E/W 2.55 Caustic wit (7lbs) 25/1 1pt E/W 5.35 Danielles lad (6lbs) 25/1 1pt E/W 5.35 Jilly Willy (8lbs) 14/1 1pts E/W 5.35 Sorbiesharry (11lbs)+3lb claimer 10/1 1pt E/W 5.35 Nakwa (6lbs) 25/1 1pt E/W 22pts staked. Looks very interesting Carl,but does the down in weight include horses that are only 1 or 2lbs down or are you setting a minimum. the reason I ask is the horses you've picked today show NO HORSE LESS THAN 6LBS.Also not sure what makes you choose a horse like BUSCADOR granted its 7lbs down in weight from it's race on 7thFEB BUT UP IN WEIGHT ON IT'S LAST 2 RUNS.I can clearly understand if down in class and weight but not sure when down in weight only unless i'm missing something. From what i gather the minimum is the 6lbs, but all the selections are dropped in weight from there winning handicap marks. So its horses that have won at a higher handicap and on there way down in weights until they get another win,hopefully at a decent price.. On the AW this could do very well as some of the same horses tend to have there turn in winning after a losing spell and there handicap mark as droped and then go in at decent odds. I'm a big fan of the Newspaper in question purely down to my experience at Worcester when i was shown how valuable an asset it can be. All the selections to this last post were only the ones droped in weight and wondered if you kept any records of those droped in class. The reason I ask this because on Monday 10th April their were 15 horses droped in class but only 5 in races on their own and gave a 8/1 2nd. 20/1 winner and 14/1 winner.
