slapdash
Re: Slapdash systems 2006 Kala Dancer has lower place odds though' date=' doesnt that make it a better selection?[/quote'] I think the win price on Betfair was too high for me when I looked. I can't remember exactly, but it was something like 14.0, compared to a best early price of 11.0.
REMIXXX
Re: Slapdash systems 2006 Slapdash, today Pentatonic was second, why? Because Counterpunch jockey was Frank L Dettori. This man shows the best jockey form-he wins all he runs. So if there is a horse from your system with him, take it 20 E/W! :) Best regards
slapdash
Re: Slapdash systems 2006 Nothing today. There are a few in the 4.10 and 5.40 at Redcar ... see my "EW Doubles" thread ... where the Betfair win price is too high for me at the moment, but there seems to be a lot of value in the place. I'll probably have another look before the races.
slapdash
Re: Slapdash systems 2006 From yesterday: Pentatonic was placed, for a 10 point profit. Starting Bank: 1000 Current Bank: 3688.93 Total Staked: 7700 W/P/L: 55/125/205 Profit/Loss: +2688.93 (Win +907.66, Place +1781.27) Yield: +34.92%
slapdash
Re: Slapdash systems 2006 Just noticed that Sean Graham have 50/1 for Lottie in the 5.40 Redcar. This is huge (Betfair win price is 35/1, and Betfair place price is 4.40 to lay, compared to the 11.00 we get at this price!) Unfortunately, Sean Graham have tiny limits, even for new accounts, as far as I can tell, so I won't count it here. They allowed me £3.60 each-way, but maybe others will be luckier. slapdash
Re: Slapdash systems 2006 Just looked at the latest odds for Lottie. Best bookie's odds are now 16/1, and the Betfair place odds have completely collapsed: less than 3.00 now! Could be interesting.

slapdash
Re: Slapdash systems 2006 3.25 Yarmouth Mr Cellophane (5/1 Totesport) 10 points EW. Each way system. There's an odds on favourite. We're getting 2.00 for the place, compared to a lay price of 1.47 on Betfair, and the Betfair win price is also slightly lower at 5.80. slapdash
Re: Slapdash systems 2006 4.35 Yarmouth Blue Tomato (20/1 Ladbrokes) 10 points EW. Each way system. There's an odds on favourite. We're getting 5.00 for the place, compared to a lay price of 2.84 on Betfair, and the Betfair win price is only slightly higher at 22.0. slapdash
Re: Slapdash systems 2006 2.10 Sandown Shantina's Dream (SP) 10 points EW. Each way system. We'd get 2.20 for the place at the best generally available early price of 6/1 (actually, Sean Graham have 7/1, which is worth taking, but have very low limits), compared to a lay price of 1.62 on Betfair. The Betfair win price is a bit higher at 8.20, but the difference in place odds is big enough to compensate.

The favourite is about even money. We're getting 2.40 for the place, compared to a lay price of 1.80 on Betfair, and the Betfair win price is also lower at 6.60.
