slapdash
Re: Slapdash systems 2006 Thanks, guys. Callisto Moon was second in a photo-finish, so almost a :dude:dude:dude:dude day. 166 point profit on the day. BillyHills
Re: Slapdash systems 2006 Slapdash, superb stuff mate, going to take some catching on SP, especially as i'm in freefall!! You must have a lot of happy PL'ers following you at the moment my friend, amazingly consistant, keep it up:ok BH

slapdash
Re: Slapdash systems 2006 Sorry, a bit late with this: 3.35 Wetherby Nod Ya Head (14/1 William Hill) 10 points EW. Each way system. Short priced first and second favourites. We're getting 3.80 for the place, compared to a lay price of 2.98 on Betfair. The Betfair win price is slightly higher, at 15.50, but the difference in place prices is enough to compensate. A few bookies have already cut the price, so I'll take the early price. slapdash
Re: Slapdash systems 2006 7.05 Lingfield Titian Dancer (8/1 Totesport) 10 points EW. Each way system. There's an odds on favourite, and we're getting 2.60 for the place, compared to a lay price of 2.10 on Betfair. The Betfair win price is also slightly lower, at 8.80. Had a busy morning/early afternoon. I hope somebody managed to get a better price than the 10/1 SP.

slapdash
Re: Slapdash systems 2006 Both of them placed for a 24 point profit. Not a great decision to take the 8/1 on Titian Dancer, though! SP was 12/1 and it touched 14/1. slapdash
Re: Slapdash systems 2006 A quiet day. Six race meetings and I can't find a thing that qualifies. It's possible something will turn up later for the evening meetings, but failing that it's a day off for me.
slapdash
Re: Slapdash systems 2006 Forgot there was a big Irish meeting on. Usually the Betfair place market on Irish racing has so little liquidity it's not worth looking. 2.15 Curragh Trikirk (16/1 VCBet) 10 points EW. Large handicap system. We're getting 5.00 for the place, compared to a lay price of 3.30 on Betfair. The Betfair win price is also shorter at 14/1.
slapdash
Re: Slapdash systems 2006 4.30 Curragh Sandie (16/1 VCBet) 10 points EW. Large handicap system. We're getting 5.00 for the place, compared to a Betfair lay price of 4.00. The Betfair win price is also lower at 12/1.
slapdash
Re: Slapdash systems 2006 I'm slightly suspicious of those odds from VCBet, which seem out of line with other bookies. They are the prices shown on their website currently, but maybe they're having technical problems and haven't updated. Unfortunately, they've closed my account and so I can't check that the odds really are available. If somebody does try to take the odds, could they let me know? Thanks. slapdash
Re: Slapdash systems 2006 8.30 Cartmel Merigo (8/1 Paddy Power) 10 points EW. Each way system. There's an odds on favourite, and we're getting 2.60 for the place, compared to a lay price of 2.12 on Betfair. The Betfair win price of 9.20 is marginally higher, but not enough to worry about.
