Re: Novice /Beginers Chases System This really is getting too much of a habit :( , MONTE VISTA - every chance and going well when FELL 2 out :wall Were you on the fav , ONEDUNME ? Thursday -------- MICK DIVINE - 1.20 Taunton , has won a CORK 7k Hurdle and this represents his 4th run in Britain , his first 3 were Handicap Chases , the last two at Taunton. His 3rd place was over c/d on G/F going which was probobly on the fast side - it's GOOD for tomorrow.[ rain forecast] Last time he was 2nd over 3m3f , again on G/F. His trainer ,C.MANN has had a couple of winners with his last few runners so the stable seems in form. R.P f/cast odds - 9/2.

Re: Novice /Beginers Chases System mick divine - non runner :\ GOBLET OF FIRE - 12.45 Chelt has won a 24 k Hurdle race at Newton Abbot back in August. Won his 1st run over jumps at Fakenham but disappointed last time at Newbury when a well beaten 4th . Doubts over stamina in G/SFT ground, but at 14-1 in a 5 runner race at Cheltenham is worth a mention.

Re: Novice /Beginers Chases System GOBLET OF FIRE - LAST . A fascinating Novice chase involving only 4 runners at CHELTENHAM tomorrow and with BEWLEYS BERRY having won a Hurdle race worth 18k and a nice f/cast price of 9-2 , i will be on this one ! [ doesn't that inspire confidence ] One doubt is the distance , is it too short[2m5f] ?? He's been quoted as being a potential staying chaser by the owner ,lets hope the course helps him. The fav CELTIC SON won a 14k hurdle and a 2m5f, 19k Nov Ch at Winc last time , however his Hurdle wins were at 3m + , so there is a chance this could be shorter than he wants?, but will the course help him ? [heard that before!] The 2nd fav , ALBUHERA , won won an 11k hurdle over the course , but i hope that the Dist could be on the undoing of this one . Although he won over 2m4f at Newbury , that is a flat, galloping course ; the one thing CHELTENHAM ain't.He won all his Hurdles over 2m and after his last victory ,trainer NICHOLS stated that the 2m Castleford Chase could be a target! , so why is he running in a 2m5f race at Cheltenham ?? Discount EXOTIC DANCER at your peril !! This race could end up being a tactical match with only 4 runners but i'm sticking with BEWLEYS BERRY.

Re: Novice /Beginers Chases System BEWLEYS BERRY 2nd at 5-2 Tuesday -------- ESKIMO PIE has won 2 x 5k hurdle races in similar going to tomorrows and at an s-p of 9-2 , could well be worth a second look in the 1.30 at Warwick Noted as staying on in his previous race , a 2m6f ch at Uttoxeter , this 3m event should hopefully not be a problem ,at least dist/going wise. VESUVE is an interesting French raider [1.10- folk] who has won 2 x 13k hurdle races at Auteuil and that is way beyond what anything else in this race has achieved [ Lord Olympia is nearest with a 7k win] The trainer has a 50% record at Folkestone with his runners. At the Racing Post f/cast of 5-2 , he looks a decent bet ,one doubt is the going , his wins in France have been in V.sft/Hvy going and it's f/cast as good tomorrow.
