STP's Selections

Recommended Posts

4 from 7 today, and a healthy profit of 182.7 points, so going to carry on posting my tips up, easier to put them all in this one thread, saves starting new ones up can see how it goes over a longer period now, try and increase that bank ! First selection tommorow is in the first race at Catterick. The pick here is W Haggas' SIGNAL HILL. Had a 2y/o winner from this stable today, hes sent this one 200 miles and has a healthy 33% s/r here. Culhane in the saddle again win anticiapted. 5pts WIN @ s/p Next selection is over the jumps at Exeter in the Big Race (2.40) Fancy here is KADOUNT for A King. Talented novice last term (still going well when unseating four out behind Contraband and Ashley Brook in Arkle) but now 7lb higher than when close second in good handicap at Aintree in April; decent pull with that pair on earlier Uttoxeter running and wouldn´t rule out. Nice light weight, tempted to go e/w with quality of field (kauto star) but no point of selecting something you dont think will win, so ..... 5pts Win @ s/p Over to Worcester for there lasty now and the NHF race. The one for mne here is N Hendersons, his last 3 runners have all won AU COURANT represents the yard here, 1-1 NHF already this season, this will take all the beating. Darnayson of N-T-Davies done nothing on the 26th, which shows the Jonjo runner is nothing special, be dissapointed if this isnt good enough here. 10pts Win @ s/p Final selection for tommorow and a M Tompkins 3 y/o cant be ruled out here, 2-3 this season, hes represented by TREW STYLE in the maiden at 2.30. Looks a weak race, handles the ground as shown last time, Golam on its back, hes banging in winners left right and centre and can take the title of Hayley Turner, so no worries about the jock, step up in trip should suit. 10pts Win @ s/p 30pts Staked for Tommorow Best of Luck everyone :ok

Re: STP's Selections Just the one for tommorow, going 20pts Win on ANFLORA, in the 2.45 Chepstow, Point winner in May 2003 who notched first success since when successful over C&D last time; closely matched with Billy Ballbreaker on that evidence but more to do in higher grade from higher mark, trainer knows the score here especially in Chases only CD winner can see it following up. 20pts Win ANFLORA - Best of Luck :hope Cheers :ok

Bloody 2nd !!, down to 153.7 profit, right some winners tommorow .... :hope Nicky Henderson done me a favour yeaterday, more of the same tommorow, i feel, his one runner on the Haydock card is at 2.10 ARISTOXENE Did well for a novice over these big fences last December though value of form debatable, and also much to like about narrow Sandown defeat over farther (extended 3m) in March, against much more experienced handicappers; ended campaign on quiet note but no fears regarding fitness and reasonable hopes he can come on again this time, last 4 from this stable have all gone in, red hot form. Big Fancy here .. hence 20pts Win @SP Over to Towcester now 3.30 and M Pipes SARATOGANE, 2-3 NHF there this year, excellent breeding, Half-sister to smart 2m-2m5f hurdler Lough Derg; dam half-sister to good French hurdler Astronomer and very useful French stayer Soreze and will go onto better things later over obstacles, hope its raedy today however 10pts Win @ SP Last two are both at MUSSELBURGH, the first in the listed race, Sir Marks KISWAHILI, looks like the typical Prescott ahead of everyone, steeping up in trip, seen it so many times this season 5-10 with 3yos here 10pts Win@ SP The last is in the 1st at Muss, BEST DOUBLE, Model of consistency this summer but hasn´t managed to put her head in front after six attempts; shouldn´t mind the conditions and looks stable´s main hope; place prospects at the very least. Johnstons and Gosdens look the chief threats, but this should finally get its head in front. 10pts Win @ SP 50 pts Staked !! :eek

Re: STP's Selections 4 selections, 1 winner a 2nd and a 3rd, one nowhere so

Price 1 11/8win
Unit Stake: 10
Total Stake: 10
Return: 23.75
returned for 50pts staked very diisapointed, especially with the Henderson horse beaten a length anyways, down to 126.45 desperatley need a winner to get back on track. 2,20 Hexham, ive put this in the horses to follow bit as well, MAUNBY ROCKER, should have won lto, at sedgefield but jumped up the back of another horse, lost a ton of ground and still finished 2nd im going 26.45 PTS Win on this @ SP and really do expect this to win, as imo this is definitley a winner without a penalty, stables are running ok, few more winners would have been nice, due to race off 3lb higher mark from tomorrow, 9/10 confidence here, main other danger is TIGER TALK, of Guests, cant stress how keen i am here !!!!! Hope this dont go t**'s up on me ... look like a fool lmao !!! anyway hope to god this wins :hope :hope :hope sure it will:rollin Cheers

Re: STP's Selections Nice one, STP :ok. Saw your write up on this the other day. It's always nice when one comes in like that, when you think you've spotted something. Didn't have a penny on it myself, I'm one of those silly sods that only puts money on my own losers. Anyway all the best, keep 'em coming. Khartoum.

Re: STP's Selections Thanks Guys .. On to today, think ive found a few strong bets here. The first selection is in the November Handicap, EBTIKAAR, still improving this horse as shown lto reversing form with Soulacroix Further progress this autumn and ran on strongly up the hill after being pushed along some way out when winning competitive Newmarket handicap last month, R HIlls down to 8-3 for this mount very significant. 10PTS WIN @ 6/1 1-35 Wincanton, Andrew Turnell is 2-2 over Chases and KEW JUMPER looks like a very intrestuing recruit. Promising sort over this sort of trip, not the finished article last term and improvement needed on this reappearance, but stable form encouraging and he should win more races this season. This is his Ground, the booking of G LEE is very encouraging, BLACK DE BESSY, rates chief danger, may just find the selection too good however. 10PTS WIN @ S/P Maybe more later depends if i hear any whispers.

Re: STP's Selections Banks at 165.96 One for today - 7/5pts e/w and 5pts Win on DEL MAR SUNSET, W J Haggas been knocking in the winners of late, won this last year, 11s is a massive price, lots of speed in the race will suit this one, big chance of repeating last years win, useful claimer up top will help a great deal. 20 PTS STAKED

Re: STP's Selections Just noticed this is running KINDELIGHT DEBUT backed it lto, got no run so hoping to get the money back here Dual C&D winner in the summer and nothing wrong with latest effort over the extended mile here when suffering troubled passage; one of the few to come into the race at the top of her game and leading contender. 20 pts Win

Re: STP's Selections Went missing for nearly two years and did little in three starts earlier this year (reportedly lame on second outing) but back with a bang over this trip at Huntingdon last month; up 8lb, still on attractive mark for old peak form but this is a much harder task than last time. DARK N SHARP 10pts Win @ 10/1 NEVER AWOL Quirky customer whose C&D win last year came out of the blue, as did success over 2m6f here this month when tried to pull himself up on the run-in (the third Gola Supreme is 7lb better off for 9l and should be much closer); better than the bare form, so6lb rise not prohibitive if in co-operative mood, and his rider, who knows him well, will be alert for mischief. 10pts Win @ 9/2

Re: STP's Selections Success story this year, winning three and climbing well over a stone up the ratings; adaptable as regards trip, course and ground, and a cracking effort over 6f here last month (has won over a stiff 1m); 3lb higher but highly likely to run his race froma handy draw. SAN ANTONIO 10pts Win @ 9/2 30pts Staked Bank 180pts
