I just can't see past Oratorio myself, he as won both the biggest 1m2f races (Eclipse and the Irish Champion Stakes this season which is the equivalent of this) and his lazy style of racing means he wasn't used to maximum effort both days, he had something in reserve on both occasions and we still havn't seen the best from him yet.

Hey Master Joe, Although Oratorio has beaten our derby hero motivator in its last two starts it's worth remembering that on its run prior to these two it was stuffed by shamardal nearly 5 lengths, although that was a race over just a mile (obviously not oratorios optimum trip) i feel he may find another godolphin hotpot a shade too good in echo of light who represents a cracking each way bet @ corals price of 16s. This is the horse rated as Godolphins best 2 year old last year and although it hasn't raced against this quality of animal before i fancy this one from the godolphin yard showing signs of a revival maybe a touch too classy. Any Thoughts Guys?

On Racing Post Ratings, Oratorios win in the Irish Champion Stakes was 13lbs better than his 3rd to Shamardal which shows he is a different horse over this extra two furlongs. Also that Oratorio win was 7lb better than his best effort over a mile. This clearly means he is a better horse over 10 furlongs. Echo Of Light is a potentially darkhorse in the race but a negative must be that Dettori has decided to ride Layman instead who is a bigger price and Echo Of Light has hardly achieved thee form to win a Group 1. Ok, he won a conditions Race last time, but this is much much tougher task and I'd rather go for a horse who was Group 1 form.

I said he hasn't achieved the form for a Group 1 winner (he has only won a 4 runner maiden and a 5 runner Conditions race, not Group 1 form is it and lets think about it, how many horses can leap themselves from winning that sort of race and its next run winning a Group 1 as strong as this? well not many, hardly any and this is the reason Dettori has chosen Layman, becuase his horse has been placed in a Group 1, hence that being Group 1 form) as the likes of Oratorio & Rakti who already have Group 1 winning form. In his last race, the 3rd 4th & 5th were disappointing and he was possibly flattered by winning a bit easily, I just think that win wasn't as good as it looked.
