The UEFA competitions return this week, supplemented by domestic action from the Championship all the way down to the National Leagues and the SPL. To say it's a busy week would be an understatement! 

Tomorrow Bayern v PSG is probably the main candidate for "clash of the titans" while Arsenal travel to Lisbon and stuttering Man City host Feyenoord. On Wednesday Villa and Celtic entertain Juventus and Brugge respectively while Liverpool v Real Madrid is the main eye-catcher.

Liverpool are the only team with a 100% record after 4 games while there are 5 teams yet to earn a point. Italian teams hog the extremes goals wise with Bologna the only team yet to score and Atalanta and Inter the only ones yet to concede. City and Arsenal are currently outside the top 8 so have work to do to earn a guaranteed place in the last 16.

I'll cast my eye over the Europa and Conference League games nearer to Thursday.

Championship looks tricky tonight, I'll just try to buy some money on Sheffield at home to Oxford, 6-2 was a bit harsh on them last time but away to Sheffield United won't be much easier.
