Selection here is OBE GOLD win 25.0 place 5.1 He peaked this time last year with a couple of wins most significantly in a valuable (128k) race at Redcar and a close 2nd of 28 in a 70k race at Newmarket on soft ground. He has been running of marks around 106 this season which is too high. Droppede to 99 last time, he bounced back to form and finished a good 2nd. He is one who wont mind the soft ground, is well drawn and looks to be running into form. Off a mark of 100 he can go close.
