Weekend Football Bets > 22nd - 26th August

Another overlapping scenario with League 2 straining at the bit and scheduling a Thursday night game!

The Premier League again gets going with a Man U game; they're away to Brighton Saturday lunchtime. There are 5 games at 3:00 with Ipswich visiting Man City and Spurs v Everton among the delights on offer. The later game is Villa/Arsenal and there are 3 Sunday games with Liverpool v Brentford bringing things to a conclusion.

Plenty of televised action in the Championship as well with Wednesday v Leeds getting us underway tomorrow and Swansea v Cardiff finishing proceedings on Sunday. I'm sure @StevieDay1983 will have some insight for us on that one!

Further down the pyramid we have Leagues 1 and 2, the National Leagues and the FA Trophy and there's a full programme in Scotland.

With Germany finally getting things underway in terms of League action there's the full range of games to bet on in Europe. How much further can Leverkusen extend their unbeaten record and will Bayern be able to mount more of a challenge this season?

Further afield the MLS gets back underway after it's lengthy hibernation and there's Serie A action in Brazil.

So about as much to go at as there could possible be.

I'm hoping that my current poor results are down to variance rather than being the new normal. I might be reliant on you lot for some decent bets soon so don't be shy, share your thoughts and bets with the rest of us here.

7/8/9 folds (0.5 unit spread across all permutations)

Will also place a small set of 7/8/9 folds of the above

Brighton DNB - 1.8
Ipswich +2.5 - 1.91
Tottenham - 1.4
Arsenal - 1.8
Newcastle - 2.15
Monaco - 2.0
Lazio - 2.38
Dundee - 2.63
Leeds - 1.8

The outlay for the small set for the above is 46 bets when combining 7/8/9 folds with the shortest priced 4 fold yielding 67/1

Treble/fourfold (0.5 unit spread across all permutations)

Also placing a small set of treble and fourfold as follows -

Port Vale draw DNB - 2.1
Rotherham DNB - 2.1
Cambridge DNB - 3
Millwall DNB - 2.38

The outlay for the small set for the above is 5 bets when combining treble/foufolds with the shortest priced treble yielding 9.5/1

*bets were placed earlier in the week and stated odds above may have shifted since

Good luck all this weekend!
