A debate takes place in parliament today about affordability checks. It is being proposed that punters would undergo financial screening if they lose £125 in a month.

I have made a profit every year for the last 10 years but I've made a loss of more than £125 2 times in the last 5 months so I would therefore have to give up my financial records.

I would strongly object to this. Whilst I sympathise with problem gamblers this is not the answer.
