Dundalk 2030

draw data

TYSON FURY

each way

Is very close to the draw data here and is the proverbial group horse in a handicap.

Denis hogan has this stable switcher in a interesting race of just eight runners and although this is his all weather debut he was just four and a bit lengths behind royal ascot winner Okita Soushi two runs back and thus represents a big class drop here.

There is an odds on favourite here but with just eight runners he looks vulnerable although a strong favourite.

DUFFLE COAT

Each way

is a mile out of the handicap off 8:7 and Gordon Elliott is no mug

USA

🇺🇸

Fair grounds 2215 (due off 2234 ) now 2237…..

Wake up Delores

each way

nicely unified

win

good chance here after string of seconds including latest when clear of the rest of the field and looks a sure fire winner sooner rather than later.

The draw is crucial here and both runners have related draws and one of these is a three energy runner and drawn “alongside”each other due to the layout of the track  stand hood chances. The former carries a huge rating of over 100. Despite running last on debut….

Round up

just three races and a winner in the first,  followed by a decent priced second and long-standing bridesmaid again coming second, but to a flying winner.

In the evening’s final maiden at Dundalk, Ages of man and jockey were not together at the start and the horse as top weight has enjoyed a free run without the jockey’s weight on the saddle. many of these have done well next time out ( notably Frankie Dettori in a classic this summer) and could be one for the  out of season notebook for @Lee grays. APERCU was a ready winner.

In the last race at Dundalk, Tyson Fury 25/1 - 20/1 each way) was punching well below his weight as a class three winner off a mark of 103 and just his lack of all weather experience and  his jockey holding things up just a little too long to overhaul the comfortable winner cellach. but the mark of 98 was very high for all but one of these, and a most likely winner soon but in any case a nice return. No joy in America with Nicely unified a well beaten but running on second for the fourth consecutive time. No chance with a runaway winner in the box stall 9.
