Bath 2:02 The ground has cut up soft and not many of these have soft ground wins.Imperial cult Win This lightly raced maiden ran a blinder on a return from a long absence behind I think kraken power, might not have been but placed and has been on my radar ever since. No soft ground form to speak off and may miss out here because of that but a small win will do no harm. the other horse who could also go very close here is Uther pendragon win he is one of the highest drawn runners and in a winning mark and was beaten a nose here on his last visit by the highly fancied Assense. Also gets free energy in spades and all depends wether he can act on it… Arthalot Each way However is bang there off a mark of 60 has won off 57 under frannie Norton at a soft ground lingfield in may 21 a recipient of free energy here for various reasons and as this is an apprentice race the claimer put this horse well below last winning mark will go close if jockey can put this horse in the right place. A bumper winner and yard returns in better form. Rated 100 and this is a mid to 102 rated race. Jockey clearly missing his claim and gave Concorde a little too much to do in last race. Looking forward to this runner stepping up in trip but needs to assert late on here giving weight away. Newcastle 2030 the girl from Italy win was sent to the front very early and did not see out the trip behind cussack, who took over and ran out a clear winner on last run. Could quite conceivably improve if held up later this time. pop favourite is the draw data runner here and it would be just my luck today if this course winner won here. But was well held by the girl from Italy last time. Real Quiz each way drops markedly in trip here on debut for new yard. 16 plus lengths behind the winner in the same grade on handicap debut. A long way off the pace when last seen. As such may be under rated on what is effectively this runner’s “real” handicap debut. Sire’s last winner was over middle distances… yard without a win in the last month. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Pop favourite did indeed win!! R. Admiral Won stateside @ 15/8 at 2215 hours.
