In the 2.30 at Fiaryhouse - no explanation needed for backing Honeysuckle at 1.56..........massive shock with Honeysuckle suffering her first ever defeat

In the 1.30 at the same meeting the Mullins trained 3/3 to date Champ Kiely is one I’ve backed at an early 2.74 on betfair. This horse destroyed Brazil, who won the Fred Winter at the festival last year, giving him 1lb , giving that Brazil is rated a 142 horse then that was some performance for a horse having only his third race under rules in Ireland. The second favourite for tomorrows race is Marine National, saver, who is an unbeaten gelding with a 3/3 record, his last win was an easy win from a horse rated 112 and prior to that he had an easy win in a Pro-Am race, could be anything, but Champ Kiely stands out for me...........................Marine National at 7.6 just got there, fav Champ Kiely traded as low as 1.22 but not good enough.

Good luck tomorrow folks whatever you are backing or laying.

Sha tin

9.10

A. Pal

Win

Form figures are 9,2,1.

Has won a race and been placed in Australia.

Took no time to settle in HK .

Manner of win after a good second from a high draw was taking. Won in a canter under restraint and eased down under hands and heels at the end. Ninth on debut here.

Drawn in the box seat now and if still in good order should have enough over the handicapper for repeat show.

Further to the Sha tin bet at 9.10

A pal has gone from evens to odds on in a second.

There is an offer on him to win by two plus lengths @ 9/4 and as he wasn't let down last time, he might just manage that, but he has been hammered by the handicapper. Rather than bet odds on that is the way I'm going to go for small stakes.

A.PAL to win by 2 + lengths @ 9/4 Skybet

It was pleasing to land the group one winner in Australia yesterday with Amelia's jewel who did it very well.

Huntingdon 1215

Spirit D'aunou

win

Spirit D'aunou is in a virtual match race in this three runner affair.

Tintin ran in taking style winning well last time but carries a half stone penalty here.

Spirit D'aunou looked highly promising on debut in a race where the front two were a long way clear. Receiving so much weight may well prove decisive here for the Gary Moore newcomer and although he's odds on still looks " value" for the price. He's been sent over recommended by Felix De Gilles who knows his stuff.

They both look exceptionally good horses and the french bred is the call.

Fairyhouse 1225

We don't get juvenile hurdles of this size or quality in England unless they are graded at Cheltenham or Newbury.

Mullins has a strong  hand of three runners while Joseph O'Brien has two.

I take the winner to come from one four of these runners.

Lossimouth

Aghaboy

Comfort zone

Zarek the brave

Combination trifecta

Lossimouth is intriguing and bolted up by ten lengths in France.

Zarek the brave did a similar job last time out.

While comfort zone won an incident packed race last time.

Lossimouth could be anything with the french form not always carrying over the water. He is very well regarded and already heads the Cheltenham market.

Jp McManus has prominent involvement in this race.

Probably missed the boat with Sandy Thompson's winning run but will include Faithful Flyer in a Trixie

1.45 Hunt Grand D'Ange .3/1

2.20 Hunt First Impression 5/1

2.40 Kel Faithful Flyer 9/4

1 x 1 pt win Trixie = 4 pts = poss return of 134.50

1.45 Hunt Art Of Illusion 9/4

2.20 Hunt Impulsive One 9/4

1 x 1 pt win double with poss return of 10.56

= 5 points staked

Back soon with singles and savers

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Grand D'Ange wins

2.20 Hunt Impuslive One 1.50 win at 3.7for 4.10 profit

2.40 Kel Lewa House 1 pt win at 4.9 and Ginger Pointe 0.50 ew at 10/1

I have napped Pic Dhory in the 2.55 at Huntingdon but in all honesty won't back it at 9/4

Total stakes today = 8.50 today

-------------------------------------------------

2.55 Hunt Mr Fisher  1 pt win at 10.5

Disappointing day
