StefanBB
Galatasaray vs Barcelona Galatasaray hopes to win again following the 2:0 Super Lig triumph against Beşiktaş in the Istanbul derby. Although they could not be content with their campaign, the hosts managed to get away from the danger zone. It's been a rare occasion in recent times where Galatasaray has kept a clean sheet. The reality is that Galatasaray has failed to prevent opponents from scoring in 5 of their previous six clashes, letting in 8 goals along the way. Galata managed to hold Barcelona to a goalless draw at Camp Nou, and they will search for another heroic display. Arda Turan (groin strain) and Fatih Öztürk (Vestibular disorder) won’t be playing for Galatasaray boss Domènec Torrent. Barcelona goes into this clash following on from a 4:0 La Liga win as they beat Osasuna in their previous fixture. The Catalans remained third in the Spanish top-flight, establishing their place in the Champions League zone. A series of effective showings from the Barcelona defense has seen the number of goals they've conceded standing at four from their past six fixtures combined. During the same period, the number of goals they have scored themselves is 18. Barcelona started playing attractively again, and they hope to get back on track to success. But before that, they need to win on hot ground in Istanbul. Dani Alves will not be able to play in this game through being suspended. Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction Although they improved their form and remained undefeated in Barcelona, the visitors are still firm favorites in this tie. We believe they won't let themselves have another hiccup, and they should secure their advantage at halftime. Goals Market Prediction Barcelona has been involved in high-scoring matches lately, and we expect to see a lot of fire on Thursday evening. That could result in another efficient encounter which should produce at least three goals. StefanBB
Lyon vs Porto Lyon will be hoping to bounce back here following the 4:2 Ligue 1 losing effort in their last game against Rennes. That one kept them in the middle of the Ligue 1 table, being eight points away from the continental battles. In their preceding six games, Peter Bosz's Lyon has hit the back of the net ten times, giving them an average number of goals scored per match equal to 1.67. L’OL needs to stabilize its form to secure one of the top-five spots in the domestic competition. Nevertheless, they go to this one after a 1:0 success in Porto. Regarding the selection issues, Rayan Cherki (Metatarsal Fracture) and Sinaly Diomandé (Ankle Surgery) will be missing for Lyon coach Peter Bosz. Porto comes into this game following a 4:0 Primeira Liga win versus Tondela in their most recent match. The Dragons remained six points clear from the defending champions Sporting and are the major favorites for the title. Sérgio Conceição's Porto has turned their attacks into goals 12 times throughout their previous six matches. The aggregate of goals that have been scored against them during those same clashes equals 6. However, they are one goal behind in this tie, and only a victory can keep them on the continental stage. Porto boss Sérgio Conceição has to choose a team with limited availability. Fernando Andrade (Cruciate Ligament Rupture) and Wilson Manafá (Joint injury ) miss out here. Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction It is going to be a tight clash, and it can easily go either way. Lyon is pretty unpredictable, but we believe they can hold on to a draw on the home ground. Goals Market Prediction On the other hand, Porto is very talented in the final third, and they are very capable of scoring against Lyon. Therefore, we don’t think either team will keep the clean sheet on Thursday evening. ALEXXXXXXXX
Lyon entertains Fc Porto at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais Stadium on Thursday night in the second leg of the Europa League. Lyon The host were victorious away at the Estadio do dragao thanks to Lucas Paqueta goal in the second half of the match. The win over Porto was the first time the French Giants have been victorious against the Portuguese giants as they have met 5 times in the past. The host lost 4-2 to Rennes over the weekend a lose that ended their winning run in Ligue 1. They will still be without Ryan Cherki and Sinally Diamonde for this encounter. FC Porto Fc Porto where superb over the weekend as they thrashed underdogs Tondela in Portuguese League 4-0 at home. A win that shows good prospect for this crunchy clash as they hope to overturn the one goal deficit if they must make it to the quarter final round of the Europa League. With their squad intact and having not lost to the French side in this competition except the last time out. The visitors will be hopeful to get past this round. Verdict Both teams have met a total of 7 times in the past with the visitors winning 3 and drawn 2 and only one if those meetings ending goalless. DarrenTse
Bayer Leverkusen vs Atalanta Bayer Leverkusen With four consecutive league victories to reach the top-four of the Bundesliga, Gerardo Seoane's side achieved a commendable draw with Bayern Munich on Thursday. However, they got into trouble at Koln on Sunday afternoon, losing 0-1 to their opponents. Leverkusen have won 17 of the 25 home games in the Europa League, and their proud home record will certainly inspire people's confidence before the arrival of Atalanta. Atalanta After the success of the first leg, the team have won three Europa League knockouts - in sharp contrast to their poor domestic state in 2022. Gian Piero Gasperini's side have failed to score in three of the past four Serie A games. Atalanta have an impressive away record this season, with 9W-2L in 14 away league matches. Prediction There were many goals in the first leg and the scale was huge, but after returning to the domestic arena at the weekend, both sides failed to score. Leverkusen may find that the absence of Wirtz is like the destruction of Zapata to Atlanta. We look forward to another goal game between the two sides. (BTTS) Both Teams To Score Total: Over 2.5 Goals
