The Scientist
In a race a jockey is only as good as his horse within small margins. +-2 two lengths is the established range from best to worst. I watched the Meydan 2.30 a Golophin 1-2-3. My rosette goes to the jockey on the 3rd horse. The 1st and 2nd were also excellent as were all the jockeys but the ,3rd gets my award. Often its the jockey on the last horse!
The Scientist
I have just checked. 1st Pat Cosgrave, 2nd William Buick, 3rd Frankie Dettori. I assure you my rosette award was given without knowledge of the jockeys names
