AC Milan vs AS Roma

Kick Off: 01/06/2022 13:30

AC Milan

After a narrow defeat to Serie A rival Napoli last weekend, Milan ended a turbulent year with a 4-2 victory over Empoli. With their victory in Tuscany, the team became the second team in Serie A history to achieve at least 17 away victories in a calendar year. But before Rome's visit this week, their home record was only the seventh best in the league, and the Rossoneri have lost two of their last three home games in the top league.

AS Roma

Roma felt frustrated after an unremarkable year ended with a draw with Sampdoria. Roma have won two of the last three games in 2021, ranking sixth in the standings - only two points less than fifth-placed Juventus and six points behind Atlanta in the final Champions League. Mourinho has maintained an impressive home record since he coached the team, winning six league games - keeping five clean sheets in the process.

Prediction

Milan have scored more than two goals per game in the league this season, and some of their offensive stars have returned to the Serie A rematch. Therefore, they can take advantage of the defensive flaws that weaken Rome outside the capital and start 2022 with a morale-boosting victory.

Juventus vs Napoli

Kick Off: 01/06/2022 15:45

Juventus

After a turbulent start to the 2021-22 season, Juventus ended the year with six consecutive unbeaten games - only conceded two goals in progress. The team defeated Cagliari 2-0 in the final game of the winter break. Max Allegri managed to get the team back on track. They once narrowed the huge gap to fourth place, down to a manageable 4 points, and qualified for the Champions League last 16.

Napoli

Since lost their first league match in late November, Napoli have been in poor condition and finally gave up the top spot in the standings. Four consecutive losses - setbacks in the game against Inter Milan, followed by a loss to Atlanta and the unexpected Empoli, and-most frustratingly - the Spezia which got only two points from their previous six games. Inspiring captain Lorenzo Insigne recently stated that he will leave - he will move to MLS club Toronto.

Prediction

Two of the top three defensive teams in Serie A will face each other on Thursday. The home-court advantage gives Juventus a psychological advantage, as they often get points at headquarters from Napoli.

Milan vs Roma

After a two-game winless streak, Milan managed to get back on the winning track after beating Empoli on the road. They are four points behind their fierce rivals, Inter, And the hosts look forward to stabilizing their form. Stefano Pioli’s team should be more confident on the home ground, as they booked only two wins in the last five matches played at Stadio San Siro. Nevertheless, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and the lads are still among the most efficient teams in Serie A, scoring 40 goals this season. However, Milan should tighten its defense, as the hosts failed to keep the clean sheet on the previous four occasions. A victory in this one should keep Rossoneri’s title hopes alive.

Roma managed to tie two wins,  but they go to this match after a 1:1 draw against Sampdoria on the home ground. Jose Mourinho’s side missed a chance to get closer to the top-four zone, and they are still six points behind Atalanta. Although Tammy Abraham and the lads have been pretty productive in the front, their defense should have done a much better job. Giallorossi managed to keep the clean sheet only once on the previous six occasions in all competitions. Roma has been pretty inconsistent on the road, celebrating four and losing five times in nine outings this season. They need to go for a win in order to stay close to the Champions League zone.

Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Neither team has been confident lately, and the hosts shouldn’t underestimate Roma in this encounter. However, we believe Milan is closer to the victory, and they should meet expectations and pick up valuable three points in this clash.

Goals Market Prediction

Both sides have been pretty productive lately, while they had some defensive issues to resolve. One of the teams managed to keep the clean sheet only once in their last seven head-to-head matches, and this one shouldn’t be much different. Neither team should keep its net intact in this encounter.

Juventus vs Napoli

Juventus is finally providing great games lately, but the bad start to the season has influenced them to be far from the first-placed Inter. Less than three goals per match have been recorded in 6 of the last six games in which Juventus participated. Juventus is undefeated in the previous two Serie A matches at home, and they defeated Cagliari and Genoa. Moise Keane, after many loans, shows that he deserves more minutes. Massimiliano Allegri should have been fired at one point, and now he has entered a safe haven with good results. Several players were injured, including defense commanders Bonucci and Chiellini, and Allegri is in trouble before the derby.

Napoli is still in trouble as if the devil entered the players, and they need to find a way out of the crisis as soon as possible. The numbers tell their story, and Napoli has scored in 5 of their last six matches when opposing teams have scored a total of 9 goals. It is obvious that there are a lot of problems in the defense. An even bigger problem is that the best player of Lorenzo Insigne is at the exit door and close to signing for Toronto. Luciano Spalletti, as an experienced coach with a huge salary, did not delight a large army of fans after the series of poor results. His clock is slowly ticking, and if they do not improve their form, he will be looking for a new club. Several players are positive on Covid, the best defender, Kalidou Koulibaly, cannot help his teammates due to injury, which is another reason for concern.

Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Juventus is undefeated in the previous six matches, while Napoli is visiting Turin at the most delicate moment. Everything but defeat would be a phenomenal result, all in all, Juve is a big favorite, and the home ground is a big advantage.

Goals Market Prediction

The crowd saw at least three goals between these two rivals in the previous two matches. On Thursday evening, we expect a real football treat with a lot of excitement and anticipation of over 2.5 goals.

Sassuolo
Sassuolo is ranked 13th in the Serie A table after 19 rounds, in which they scored 24 points.
Until the last round, Sassuolo's unbeaten streak was six matches (two wins and four draws).
And it is interesting that Alessio Dionisi's team won victories over Milan and Lazio. In addition, in this segment she had draws with Napoli and Fiorentina.
Nevertheless, in the final game of last year, the team was defeated at home by Bologna (0-3)

Genoa
Andriy Shevchenko's team does not yet know victories in Serie A. In the table "Griffons" are in 18th place with 11 points.
Be that as it may, but Genoa at least began to show signs of life. She has scored in two of the last three rounds.
Yes, and a discount on the calendar can be made - alternately there were defeats from Milan, Juventus and Lazio. In the last round, the club drew with Atalanta (0-0).
The hosts won only once in six matches in December. They beat Salernitana in the Italian Cup match (1-0).

MatchBet with best odds - Sassuolo will win and three or more goals will be scored in 2.20.

Juventus
"Vecchia Signora" has recently been in a crisis, the consequences of which are reflected in the table. The departure of Cristiano Ronaldo, whatever one may say, influenced the team.
Obviously, Juventus does not look as bright as before. Seventh place is clearly out of harmony with the recent undivided dominance of Serie A.
And yet, Turin have won five of their last six matches with one draw - against Venezia (1-1) away.
The Bianconeri have not been defeated since November 27 and have won their last two matches, in which they have never been conceded. Lagging behind the opponent is five points.

Napoli
The Neapolitans had a great start in the current Serie A draw, winning the first eight matches. And only in the ninth round did they lose their first points of the season, having drawn 0-0 away with Roma.
And the first defeat at Napoli happened already in the 13th game day, when the team lost to Inter with the score 2-3.
As the recent matches show, the Azzurri are now having, if not a crisis, then an obvious decline in form, which was expressed in three defeats following the results of five matches.
In the last 10 games in all tournaments, Luciano Spalletti's guys won only three victories.

MatchBet with best odds - total over 2.5 goals for 2.00.
