#2 Arabolini comes here with three straight 2nd place efforts on good ground and most recently on a heavy8 rating at Warwick Farm, last victory was 14 weeks ago and drawn stall 1 so is the obvious starting point, #3 Birdonawinningpost won 3 starts ago at Tamworth and followed up with a 2nd place effort at Newcastle both on good ground, finished 5th last time out on a Heavy8 Warwick Farm same race as the previously mentioned Arabolini. #4 Marakopa last win at Wagga 3 starts ago (15 weeks since that) finished last of 9 at Newcastle over 2900m and last time out 3rd over 1800m at Hawkesbury the blinkers go back on for today, #5 Unwavering Faith last victory was 5 weeks ago at Taree on a heavy10 ground and followed up last time 5th of 11 at Newcastle beaten by just under 4 lengths has won 3 of 9 starts however and placed in a further 2 so wouldnt be without a chance at least, # Rockamo last win was 4 starts ago (9 weeks) at Tamworth, has most recently finished 2nd at Newcastle over 2300m so is down in trip today and has been at least placed in 4 of 8 starts winning just the 1

#1 Darleb finished a credible 2nd place only 2 starts ago at Kensington on a Soft5 and was 5th of 7 most recently also at Kensington only beaten 2.6 lengths on a Good3 might make a place position, #2 Prima Stella has placed in all of the last 6 starts last victory was 8 weeks ago has since come 3rd beaten under half a length at Port Macquarie downside is the wide draw however in stall 15 but is a very interesting runner, #4 Charmmebaby placed on a good track 2 starts ago at Port Macquarie, latest run was on a Heavy8 at Taree where finished 5th of 7 beaten 2.5 lengths that day and could be the one to beat today back on a Good rating #8 Cecillia won last time out at Newcastle over 1200m that was following on from a 2nd place effort at Tamworth and 16 weeks off after that 10 places from 15 career starts. #9 Standing Bear won on Heavy ground at Taree latest start and placed on good ground start before that at Port Macquarie but was beaten nearly 3 lengths in 2nd place that day and has 10 places from 17 races, #11 War Cat beaten into 2nd by 2 lengths last time at Muswellbrook other than 2 trial events was the horses first run in 26 weeks, has a wide draw in stall 14 to deal with today but has a decent place chance.
