Trotter Posted April 27, 2020 Share Posted April 27, 2020 The company which created the Virtual Grand National a few weeks ago has been commissioned by NBC to do a Virtual Kentucky Derby to feature the 13 horses that have won the US Triple Crown from Sir Barton in 1919 to Justify in 2018 The virtual race will be broadcast by NBC on the original date for the race, May 3rd The real life race has been put back to September I expect it'l get shown over here probably on Sky Sports Racing List of US Triple Crown Winners ..... Sir Barton 1919 Gallant Fox 1930 Omaha 1935 War Admiral 1937 Whirlaway 1941 Count Fleet 1943 Assault 1946 Citation 1948 Secretariat 1973 Seattle Slew 1977 Affirmed 1978 American Pharoah 2015 Justify 2018 I've heard of all of them from Secretariat onwards Secretariat is an icon of the sport and Seattle Slew and Affirmed appear as sires in lots of pedigrees from the 80s onwards Obviously now that we're all experts on American racing I expect a vigorous debate as to the win, place and show ......... ? I'll go for Secretariat.
