Dipper Novices' Chase:

  • 17/17 had won a class 3+ race
  • 16/16 had run in a G1 &/or G2
  • 15/15 had finished 1-3 LTO
  • 15/15 had run in the previous 37 days
  • 12/12 had run at the course

The 5 trends identified generate a shortlist of 2:

  • Champ (4/7)
  • Deyrann De Carjac (5/1)

Paddy Power Handicap Chase:

  • 10/10 were aged 7-9
  • 10/10 had run in an 86k+ race
  • 10/10 had run in the previous 160 days
  • 10/10 had won over 2m4f+

The 4 trends produce a shortlist of 2:

  • Kalashnikov (4/1)
  • Ballyhill (16/1)

I don't like kalashnikov....I think he's too high in weights ....ballyhill hasn't shown anything this season so far but has been running over inadequate distance ....bottom weight and incredibly well treated I think it's worth chancing an ew bet at 16/1 .....just looks good value if he's primed after 50 days that's the big if
