ZOZO Championship

A step into the unknown this week as the PGA TOur visits Japan for the first time. A 78 man, short-field event with no cut, ZOZO are putting up a $9.75 million prize fund which has attracted a stellar field. The Narashino Country Club will provide a typically Japanese test this week to some of the World’s best golfers. The composite course is composed of 5 par-3s, 10 par-4s and 3 par-5s. Not a typical Par 70 set-up. Treelined it's conjecture how tight the actual fairways are, but wild drives are sure to be punished. Greens are moderate in size and Bentgrass.

I'm going for Schauffele at 25/1, Woodland at 33/1 and Fitzpatrick at 40/1.

I'll be sticking with Gary Woodland again this week. He is looking primed and ready to take another PGA event. I'll also be taking Ian Poulter. Poulter is said to be playing well at the moment on his twitter and will perhaps be thinking of the Ryder Cup next year. Next up Spieth. Back from a couple of months out and straight into the mix, he performed well last week and will be looking to improve from the tee. Finishing with Kevin Na, who is a big price considering recent form.

2pts E/W J.Spieth 28/1 william hill (6 places)
2pts E/W G.Woodland 33/1 unibet (6 places)
1pt E/W K.Na 55/1 betfair (7 places)
1pt E/W I.Poulter 70/1 betfred (6 places)
