Purchased by Godolphin for £200k as a yearling, Island Jungle ran three times for Saeed Bin Suroor obtaining a handicap rating of 76. With no wins and no places in his eight races it takes a big leap of faith to make him my selection.

The reasoning for my selection is:  Island Jungle is now down to 64 dropping into a class six for the first time, steps up in distance, was only beaten 3 lengths in his last race (the closest he has come to making the frame) and has the top track jockey Adam Kirby in the saddle.
