After long deliberation the pin has come down on Jaalboot from the in form Mark Johnston yard (are they ever out of form). The 3yo has had 6 starts without a win but ran well enough at Brighton last time to suggest they will nick a race at some point soon. That was the first time Franny Norton rode him and he gets the leg up again here and may know more about him.

He goes well at Brighton and that often transfer to here in my opinion and he also wears a visor for the first time so wouldn't be at all surprised to see him very handy from the off. The only slight negative is a stall one draw as the paper sys high numbers preferred but i'm not too sure about that.
