Last season Dundalk finished 2nd and Shamrock 3rd in the league but neither side started the new season particularly well with Shamrock losing 3-1 at Bohemians and Dundalk drawing 0-0 at Bray. Matches between these sides are generally close affairs and I am going for a low scoring draw tonight as both sides ease their way into the new season. Both sides started the new season with wins in week 1 with Limerick winning 1-0 at Sligo and Bohemians beating Shamrock 3-1 at home. In 13 meetings between these two sides there has not been a draw and Bohemians did not record an away draw in the league last season.
