Lets get the big issue out of the way from the start, this 8yo has started fav on his last 8 starts and only delivered once. Seven of those races were for Sophie Leech and has moved to Dan Skelton recently. Was heavily backed on debut for that yard here last time but looked a little unlucky to go down by two necks (outpaced and ran on). That was over 2m and now steps back up to a more suitable trip, I reckon they will have learnt a bit from that run and make no mistake here.

1.15 Naas AVENIR D’ UNE VIE. 3/1 Bet365

A good opportunity for this lad providing he gets a clear Round. He ran last time in the Grade 1 Racing Post Novice Chase on Boxing Day.

He wasn’t really fancied but was thought good enough to take his chance after his good win at Punchestown time before. He drops back into a novice race again, probably to school his jumping, (my main worry) apart from his jumping he faces another obstacle in the way of Demi Sang. Demi sang has won 2/2 and now runs for Willie Mullins but at odds on I want to take him on with the Henry De Bromhead horse, and see what he has.
