Some cracking races at Ascot and I wouldn't put any off the big guns Harry Angel, Barney Roy or Ribchester but with the dodgy weather forecast i'm swerving the meeting and going with Blue Comet at Market Rasen.

The 6yo is improving having won his last two starts here including last time over C/D, he's gone up in the weights but has found a good opportunity here to land the hat-trick at a fair price.

Harry Angel will be hard to beat but the odds ( around 5/4 ) are not for me.

Tasleet looks a better bet - e/w at 14/1

 

Ascot  3.15   Beat the Bank

Ribchester is a worthy favourite here ( around 2/1) but 3 year olds have a good record in this race ( won 7 in the last 10 years ) so I'm taking a chance with Beat the Bank who looks a reasonable e/w bet at  around 5/1
