This horse was always going to be better once he stepped up in trip and was well backed at Cartmel two starts back on his first run beyond 2 miles. He duly obliged and then next time out bumped into an in form Bowen horse at Aintree. He left his challenge a bit late but ran on well to finish second. This is easier and I believe he has more to offer.
