StevieDay1983 Posted July 7, 2017 Share Posted July 7, 2017 Sad news emerging this afternoon that six year old Sunderland fan Bradley Lowery has lost his fight against neuroblastoma. The little lad came to national attention last year when he asked for people to send him Christmas cards as a wish. He ended up receiving 250,000 cards. His infectious smile and energy when attending football matches as a special guest captured the hearts of football fans everywhere. He wasn't my son. I'm not related to him. I've not even met him. It's just such a tragic story when it was clear he was a young and innocent child that had nothing but a zest for life. Thoughts go out to his parents and loved ones. Such a shame that this is a tragedy that thousands of other families will experience as well. Puts everything into perspective really.
