Gordon Elliott has a few chances at Perth on Wednesday but should leave a happy chappy after Dawerann runs in the last race. I think he has a tremendous chance on some of his old hurdles form and to be honest this switch back over the smaller obstacles may just freshen him up as well after a couple of below par efforts recently.

His mark of 114 is not lenient so will have to be on his game but the opposition here is weak and I reckon this is another bit of good placing by a very shrewd trainer.
