turbobaby Posted November 20, 2016 Share Posted November 20, 2016 Hello all! I am back again with my challenge to win big from season long accumulators. I have gone close a good few times down through the years with a target of €25k but I've lowered that to €10k with the hope of getting over the line. I identify season long value priced bets, put them into (usually) a treble and stick €150 on it with the hope of winning about €10,000. With the November deposit of €150 I had to go with Betfair Sportsbook as that's where I found some value. It seems they have low maximums or my account is limited and I had to split my bet into three. So here are the selections: Nov Treble 1. Preston Top 6 finish (4K) / QPR Relegation (4K) / Pardew next sacked (2K) 2. Scunthorpe L1 winners 3. Napoli Top 3 Finish Posting from my phone now so I will add the odds when I next post an update. immortal-- 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
turbobaby Posted December 1, 2016 Author Share Posted December 1, 2016 (edited) Ok, so it's time for a little update for this challenge. I'm posting from a PC now so can also break down the bets so it's clearer... I watched the Crystal Palace meltdown against Swansea on Soccer Saturday. Superb! Results for QPR have been good and bad. Still early days. November Part 1 Preston Top 6 finish @ 11.0 -> 15.0 Scunthorpe L1 winners @ 4.0 -> 3.0 Napoli Top 3 finish @ 1.66 -> 1.73 Part 2 QPR relegation @ 10.0 -> 7.0 Scunthorpe L1 winners @ 4.0 -> 3.0 Napoli Top 3 finish @ 1.66 -> 1.73 Part 3 Pardew next sacked @ 9.0 -> 1.8 Scunthorpe L1 winners @ 4.0 -> 3.0 Napoli Top 3 finish @ 1.66 -> 1.73 Totals: Part 1: 73.0 -> 77.9 (€4k) Part 2: 66.4 -> 36.3 (€4k) Part 3: 59.8 -> 9.3 (€2k) Edited December 1, 2016 by turbobaby immortal-- 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
turbobaby Posted December 26, 2016 Author Share Posted December 26, 2016 Well two out of these are going well! Especially the lowest value one after the 9/1 shot Pardew got the sack. That price was too good QPR struggling badly under Holloway so thats the other one looking good. Hoping for a nice few results now for Preston over the yuletide period... Here are the updated odds. November Part 1 Preston Top 6 finish @ 11.0 -> 17.0 Scunthorpe L1 winners @ 4.0 -> 4.33 Napoli Top 3 finish @ 1.66 -> 1.4 Part 2 QPR relegation @ 10.0 -> 3.75 Scunthorpe L1 winners @ 4.0 -> 4.33 Napoli Top 3 finish @ 1.66 -> 1.4 Part 3 Pardew next sacked @ 9.0 -> WIN Scunthorpe L1 winners @ 4.0 -> 4.33 Napoli Top 3 finish @ 1.66 -> 1.4 Totals: Part 1: 73.0 -> 103.1 (€4k) Part 2: 66.4 -> 22.7 (€4k) Part 3: 59.8 -> 6.1 (€2k) aldric 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
turbobaby Posted January 30, 2017 Author Share Posted January 30, 2017 After a very busy Christmas and early January with work, I didnt have much time to think about this Glory Hunt, but I am back to update the odds and give my January selections First an update of the odds... Pretty good anyway! November Part 1 Preston Top 6 finish @ 11.0 -> 15.0 Scunthorpe L1 winners @ 4.0 -> 3.0 Napoli Top 3 finish @ 1.66 -> 1.45 Part 2 QPR relegation @ 10.0 -> 9.0 Scunthorpe L1 winners @ 4.0 -> 3.0 Napoli Top 3 finish @ 1.66 -> 1.45 Part 3 Pardew next sacked @ 9.0 -> WIN Scunthorpe L1 winners @ 4.0 -> 3.0 Napoli Top 3 finish @ 1.66 -> 1.45 Totals: Part 1: 73.0 -> 65.25 (€4k) Part 2: 66.4 -> 39.15 (€4k) Part 3: 59.8 -> 4.35 (€2k) A huge amount of green there but Preston and QPR are still rank outsiders. I'm at least getting value for money, a trend that I hope continues with these next two accumulators. January Part 1 James Vaughan L1 top scorer @ 9.0 Reading Championship promotion @ 8.5 €74.33 to win €5,684 Part 2 England Triple Crown winners @ 3.1 Shaktar Europa League Winners @ 15.0 Leeds Top 6 finish @ 1.33 €75 to win €4,650 Wish me luck Dad, whoever you are aldric 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
