Cracking renewal and loads of runners for a change. Postponed is the obvious one here having won the Coronation Cup at Epsom last time out. That was his 5th win on the spin but all at a mile and a half. He has never won over 10f but remains the highest rated runner in the line up. The negatives are that the Roger Varian yard are a bit off form recently and this horse would probably prefer an easier surface.

Second fav Hawkbill won the Eclipse but has never won on good to firm ground, he receives 8lbs being a 3yo so has to be of interest. The value bet might be Highland Reel from the O'Brien camp. He loves firm ground and has won a Group 1 at this trip. He comes here in form having won at Ascot last month and looks an EW bet to nothing.
