4.15 Newmarket: Falmouth Stakes

.....last years winner Amazing Maria (8/1 Betfair) lines again for David O’Meara, she was a revelation last season when switching from Ed Dunlop. She won three races on the bounce including two Group 1 events and finally fulfilled the early promise she had shown. To be fair she’s not been so good this time round and was a well-beaten 3rd to Usherette in May. Last time out she was 6th to Tepin in the Queen Anne, that was a stronger race on ground she wouldn’t have enjoyed so there’s hope that a return to a track that suits and on ground she will appreciate will see a return to form. The yard have finally began to click after a quiet spell and I think this mare will go well.

Aristocratic looks a s toute special ....lightly raced he ran against the much touted persuasive last time who could be a highly rated horse so a narrow beating was no shame and off 79 he still looks nicely treated....think he will be hard to beat ....Sainted won as he liked last time and could be anything so dangerous ...worth a saver
