Darran
Two bets for me tonight. Cheltenham haven't lost for a very long time and fair play to Gary Johnson as he could well manage to win the league without having the best side. They have had some fortune on the way, but you can't knock them for dropping points when they shouldn't have as they have won most of the games where they have expected to, whereas FGR and especially Grimsby and Eastleigh have failed to do that. However I am backing Kidderminster at just over 8/1 tonight because that price is too big and I would make it at least half that. As I said on Saturday they are hitting form and will be full of confidence after another superb win on Saturday where they again scored three goals. Tonight will obviously be tougher, but they can cause Cheltenham plenty of problems and they certainly have a better chance than the odds suggest. The other bet is Truro in the NLS. They host Hemel which is a mammoth trip for a Tuesday night and the home side are in much better form at the moment. Granted Hemel have only lost twice at home all season, but they have both come in their last four games including at bottom side Basingstoke and Truro look a decent bet at odds against. Darran
Forest Green v Eastleigh Before Christmas Eastleigh were looking in a decent position to challenge for the title, which given my ante-post position on them I was more than happy with. Since then though they have faltered badly. Im not sure of the reason why, maybe the FA Cup run hasn’t helped, or maybe Chris Todd isn’t up to the job after all despite a fantastic run when he took over. The signing of Matt Tubbs a couple of weeks ago looked a superb addition, but he has done nothing to change their fortunes so far. I still think they have the best squad in the division, but the fact is it isn’t working at the moment and backing Forest Green at odds against has to be the play here. FGR sit four points behind Cheltenham and with the Robins facing one of their hardest tasks for a while as they travel to Tranmere, it could be a good chance for FGR to close the gap. They have won 14 of their 17 home games this season and I think they can make it 15 against an Eastleigh side in a rut at the moment. Kidderminster v Chester Granted Chester won their first match in a while at Altrincham in midweek, but I still want to take them on in this game. Kidderminster look a different side at the moment as they showed when landing the odds for us last week against Macclesfield. They played well against Cheltenham on Tuesday night and there is no disgrace in losing to the league leaders. Chester have only won four away games all season and I simply don’t trust them to back up their victory in midweek. Kidderminster at 7/4 (Ladbrokes/Marathon) to continue their good run of performances looks a really good bet to me. Macclesfield v Dover Opposing Macclesfield has proven to be very profitable of late and I am a little annoyed I didn’t back Torquay to beat them on Tuesday night in the FA Trophy. It was another disappointing performance from the home side on the back of a 3-1 defeat at Kidderminster last weekend. Dover continue in their push for the play-offs and are having a superb season. Admittedly their away form has been patchy this term, but they have won their last two and they are playing much better than their hosts at the moment. I think the 8/5 with Betway is a fair price. Chelmsford v Margate Margate won again last week and I think it is worth continuing to support them here. Chelmsford did win their first game in ages against Whitehawk two games ago, but they followed that up with a defeat against Sutton and Margate really are playing superbly well at the moment. I keep saying they are leaving it too late to get into the play-offs, but given the teams who have got games in hand around them keep dropping points they might just do it. I make them odds on shots here so Betway’s 5/4 is a really good price. Hemel Hempstead v Sutton Sutton let us down in the double with Margate last weekend when getting a disappointing draw with Bath. Bath had a new manager in charge for that game though and Sutton bounced back to beat Basingstoke in the week. Hemel also played on Tuesday night when they had to go all the way to Truro and they lost 4-2 and they have only won three times at home all season. Sutton meanwhile have only lost twice away and conceded just nine goals. Marathon go 7/5 and I think that is a fair price. jakdhu

TheLions
Anyone think Salford look good bet at ilkeston? The home team have got rid of 8 1st team players and are playing academy lads in their places. Basically they've written the season off http://m.ilkestonadvertiser.co.uk/sport/local-sport/breaking-ilkeston-fc-release-eight-first-team-players-1-7729144 Edited February 19, 2016 by TheLions misky
Darran
Old news TheLions as I mentioned that on here last weekend and they lost 2-1 as well. I looked at Salford as thought the bookies might go odds against, but they didn't and it isn't really for me at the price. Salford manage to blow a 2 goal lead twice last week as well, although they do seem to be better on their travels this season. Worth adding as well that Ilkeston's academy is actually pretty good and they are setting up the club to be based around it. Also some of those 8 weren't first teamers anyway. Darran
A profit on the afternoon, but given Sutton and Kiddie both blew 2 goal leads it could have been so much better. Hope I put people off the Salford bet as well as they lost.
