I alsolike Under 2.5 goals. Shocked the price has gone out. Villa didn't go out against Leicester to prove they are 7-goal superstars. Anything but. I think they would be ecstatic with a 1-0 win and staying top. -

I've never spread bet. I was asking about games I fancied to be close recently. I hadnt thought of spread-betting. Which I suppose would equate to selling goal supremacy?

Question about backing close football matches
misky replied to misky's topic in Betting Systems & Strategy
No I didn't think so h. Shame that! The 'winning margin' route is still 3 bets per game unfortunately. And for a treble (for example) you're talking about 3x3x3 bets to cover everything. So 27 bets to cover 3 short-priced selections in a treble. So no go. -

If you expect that neither team will win by more than a 1-goal margin.... you can split 3 bets into Draw/Handicap-1 Draw/Handicap+1 Draw to come up with a price for the tight encounter you envisage. I assume there is no way of backing these in accumulators with the same kick-off times? No bookie offers a straight single anything like this do they (neither team to win by more than 1 goal)?

I was wondering about that game. Step 3, are they part-timers with real-life jobs? It made me wonder if they get full squad availability for midweek trips like that?
-
Whitehawk have a game tomorrow (if its on). Are they really struggling at the moment?
-
Not a bad run for the CS money last week, ref did west brom a big favour with that sending off. No thoughts on a CS this week. Surprised at prices on Swansea v Sunderland game. Nothing certain about the outcome but how would you price it??

Bad week for Tony Pulis. Cant say I know much about Watford, not sure about their manager. 1-1 last week for west brom was the scoreline I fancied (massively). Another draw would not be a massive surprise. 2-2 is 19.00 at B365. I might have a pop at them each week while I've got the interest and see how the returns (if any) pan out at the end of the season. Nice write-up on Palace. Also like Sir Punts Sunderland poke. DC or AH treble for a bit of fun perhaps?... "if you're reckless and don't care about your money"
-
I also fancy Villa to struggle and they are long prices to go down/finish bottom. I'd like to back Blues (Birmingham) to finish above Villa but it seems I might've missed the boat on that one. Anyone see that available anywhere?

Take some profit!!! would be my advice. +3200 or -5 You'll probably get Palace Double Chance at Evens soon. £200 on that gives you a nice little consolation prize. (I would have more than that on it personally) +3000 or +200 Surely thats a much nicer position to be in!?

Cheers addpea. It seems some asian markets would settle up on a HT result I think. Premier League games were hit twice by the looks of it... http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/the-floodlights-went-out-ndash-and-an-asian-betting-syndicate-raked-in-a-fortune-2066133.html It just popped into my head as you seemed a bit suss on the weight of the move on that game.

Wasn't there an 'alleged' scam some years back with floodlight failure, the match result standing if half-time reached? I could've sworn it was a premier league game too... Wimbledon? Charlton? I think the rules changed after that 'alleged' incident though. So obviously the bookies had someone nobble the lights today

Aston Villa v West Bromwich Albion > Tuesday March 3rd
misky replied to Aidymac's topic in Premier League Predictions
Re: Aston Villa v West Bromwich Albion > Tuesday March 3rd Berahino hobbled off on Saturday and Ideye was also subbed late on. Both face late fitness tests, neither are certain to play. Anichebe is definately out. Sessegnon might have a hard time after that dive on saturday. -
Sky Bet Championship > December 28th - 30th
misky replied to Aidymac's topic in Championship Predictions
Re: Sky Bet Championship > December 28th - 30th Anyone think Huddersfield are a bit short? Bolton are unbeaten in 8, I know these runs do come to an end especially in the championship. Thinking about sticking with them but I hate the thought of catching them at the wrong time.
