pairofbrowneyes is fav and should run well under these conditions but ew value has to be with strongpoint who has some strong form and even though top weight still looks feasibly weighted to run well ..and 7/1 is twice the price of the fav ...ew value

Strange looking race this......beginners chase a few yards short of 2 miles on a basically sharp track with a short run in which suits nippy speedy types

Yet most of the runners look like stayers

I'm tempted by Astre De La Couer at 17/2.........he wasn't as good as some of these over hurdles but he was still pretty decent and is a proper 2 miler. Class might tell in the end but if the stayers are caught out he could cause a surprise.
