It is only Serie A which has kept the overall performance respectable. So, it's good to see the end of Italy's winter break. Cheers[/quote] Hey best mate, I'm new here but I think I could help Grex to answer your question, (Grex hope u dont mind :)) If you take a closer look to all of Grex's previous selections you would find out that more than 50% of the lines has moved towards Grex's favorite, therefore Grex is actually gaining more of an edge by betting on the lines earlier than later. All his gained value lines would be able to cover all his depreciated lines. Regarding the movement of this particular match under Grex's selection, I would call it the minority :) So as a rule of thumb, betting earlier the better. The original back-testing was based on data from football-data.co.uk..... at that time, the owner of the site told me that, generally, the historical data was based on odds taken approximately 24 hours before KO. I try to follow the same time-line when making the selections, but sometimes stray a bit due to other commitments ;) To be honest, I have not looked at the time-related movement of odds immediately before KO, but if what you say is correct, Sharkhead (and I am sure it is), then there is obviously an advantage in taking the odds 24-36 hours before KO.
