I am starting this blog to post my thoughts anti post bets and opinions etc. For individual horse tips I will stick to the dedicated forums and Comps and not double post them here. punterpete Posted September 21, 2015 Author Share Posted September 21, 2015 The Cambridgeshire is run over 1m 1 f on the Rowley mile at Newmarket. this coming Saturday. I have had a look at the last 11 renewals of this race. I have looked at the trends and what I consider relevant factors. Very surprisingly I have come up with a short list of one. nothing near the top of the market has caught my attention. Antipost bet#2 Homage 10pts ew 40/1 Bet365 Homage has been struggling of late but won a handicap at York last October beating home decent opposition including GM Hopkins. he ran off a mark of 93 then and should only be 1lb higher on Saturday. A return to that form makes him look over priced. I will do this all again on friday evening when the draw is known and the going is clearer. He completely destroyed the Gold Cup 2nd and 3rd at Punchestown last season and was immense at Aintree too.All the best with your recovery and it will be interesting to hear your thoughts throughout the season.
