im at work tomoz so just tackling the one big hcap 235 donc kimberella 99.36 george dryden 99.31 bogart 99.23 george dryden could be a blot on the hcap here .....ran brilliantly last week and did me a huge favour but now takes on his elders in a tougher race but still warrants respect ....negatives are he is very in and out ...can run well ...then crap .....has a penalty and 3 yr olds have a terrible record in this race ....making it poor value at 10/1 .......bogart is the dark horse ....very capable on a good day and showed a glimmer of returning to form recently ....could be dangerous on day but has to be taken on credit .......kimberella stands out like a beacon in this race .......just pipped in the st wilfred ....which is solid form ....then missed the break lto and lost loads ground having too much to do but powered back at the end to only go down by about 3 lengths .......today is fantastically drawn in 14 .....3 lb claimer effectively lets horse run off st wilfred mark .....everything in place for huge run if can start better ......prices around 16/1 look fantastic value ....easy choice .... kimberella 5 pts ew 16/1 bet365

Scoop6 – Saturday September 12th Another roll over in the Tote Scoop6 this week after last weeks bet knocked everyone out after just two legs. The Win Fund starts at £343,045 and estimations are that it could reach half a million pounds by the time of the first race. The action this week features the Doncaster St Leger meeting plus racing from Chester. Leg 1: 2.15 Chester A very competitive race at Chester to kick things off and as usual the draw here is all-important. Macret won it twelve months ago when with Ruth Carr and has every chance of a repeat from a similar mark. Richard Fahey saddles a couple of live ones and Intiwin looks the best of his pair from a lovely draw on the inside. The two Southern raiders Mime Dance and Spiriting look very dangerous and of the two I like the Balding horse who has won at two other quirky tracks Epsom and Brighton so should go well here. Selection: Mime Dance 8/1 Betfred (Spiriting) Leg 2: 2.35 Doncaster 22 runners line up for the Portland Handicap and plenty come here in decent form. No doubt Caspian Prince will lead the low numbers and Tangerine Trees will be prominent on the opposite side so with enough pace the draw shouldn’t be a worry. B Fifty Two will be popular after a good second at York recently as will Suzi’s Connoisseur who didn’t look like he wanted a battle when losing out at Ascot last week. My fancy is for Pipers Note, I reckon this in-between trip of 5 ½ f will be right up his street and the ground will be ideal. Of the others I like Bogart and Kimberella. Selection: Pipers Note 20/1 Skybet (Bogart) Leg 3: 3.10 Doncaster A Group 2 contest over 7f and last years winner Ansgar bids for a repeat although he hasn’t been firing this season as yet, this trip down memory lane might work? Old rivals Cable Bay and Breton Rock lock horns once again but both might find this a bit tough. Godolphin have a couple of runners and there best looks to be Safety Check who was a cracking third to Toormore at Goodwood last time out and that form sets the standard. Limato is interesting stepping up in trip and Hugo Palmer’s Home Of the Brave has done nothing wrong. Selection: Safety Check 11/2 Betway (Home Of The Brave) Leg 4: 3.45 Doncaster - St Leger Stakes The final classic of the season and a small but select field of eight 3yo’s, which includes a trio from the Aidan O’Brien yard. It’s not easy to work out which of the Irish raiders is the one to be on and the jockey bookings don’t really help either. I do like Bondi Beach of the three, his form in the Great Voltigeur looks pretty solid and William Buick is an interesting jockey booking. Fillies have a good record in the Leger and I’m plumping for Simple Verse to add to those stats. She was supplemented by connections after winning at Goodwood and is improving all the time. She needs to step up once again but it’s an open Leger this year and worth the risk. Selection: Simple Verse 9/1 Paddy Power (Bondi Beach) Leg 5: 4.00 Chester Course and distance winner Berrahri has finished second the last twice and will be well fancied to get back to winning ways here. Richard Fahey saddles two runners and Gabrial The Thug looks the one to concentrate on although he does prefer the AW. Top weight Dana’s Present wont mind the cut in the ground and is perfectly boxed in stall 1 and is taken to notch another local victory for Tom Dascombe. Selection: Dana’s Present 6/1 Coral (Berrahri) Leg 6: 4.55 Doncaster A tough looking handicap over the Lincoln course to finish off with and the favourite is Peril trained by Simon Crisford. Won at Haydock last time out and has improved over a stone this season and must be respected. Man Of Harlech is a similar sort from the Balding yard but has a 7lb rise to contend with. Old stagers Belgian Bill, Bronze Angel and Field Of Dream will have their supporters in an open looking contest. Selection: Peril 6/1 William Hill (Man Of Harlech)
