Re: Conference North/South and Evo-Stik Northern Prem 28th December Really fancy Tamworth strongly to beat Worcester in the Conference North. The last time Tamworth lost in the league was when I really fancied them to beat Lowestoft and they duly lost, but since then they have won six games on the bounce in the league. Crucially for me they proved on Friday in beating fellow in-form team Solihull that they really have the potential to go on the sort of run that could see them in the play-offs. As I wrote on here on Friday I thought Worcester's tough schedule would catch up with them eventually and they were very lucky the weather got in the way as they were losing 3-0 when the game was abandoned. Obviously on the face of it Worcester are in fantastic form, but their players must be feeling tired and I was always looking to take them on today given the quick turn around and given they are playing in form Tamworth is for me the icing on the cake.
