Re: Sky Bet League 1 > Saturday December 20th Source : William Hill OPTA stats [h=1]Sky Bet League One Opta Facts December 20th 2014[/h] Barnsley v Leyton Orient This will be the first meeting between the two teams in any competition since January 1982 (in the old Division Two). In the 1981/82 season, Leyton Orient lost both of their two league clashes with Barnsley (1-0 away and 3-1 at home). Barnsley are yet to keep a clean sheet at home this season. Indeed, their last league shutout at Oakwell came in April against Brighton in the Championship. Leyton Orient have lost their last three away games in League One, shipping three in each. The Tykes' last two league goals have been scored by Lewin Nyatanga. The Welsh defender went 30 games without scoring since rejoining the club. Bradford City v Scunthorpe United The last time these two faced off was in March 2007 in League One. Scunthorpe have won the last three meetings between these two sides in all competitions, all by a single goal. Billy Clarke has netted in each of his last three games for the Bantams in all competitions. The Iron have kept just one clean sheet all season Scunthorpe have received more yellow cards than any other side this season (44). Coventry City v Fleetwood Town This will be the first ever meeting between Coventry City and Fleetwood Town. The Cod Army have lost eight of their last nine away games in all competitions. The Sky Blues have kept a clean sheet in each of their last three games in League One. Just nine of Fleetwood's 26 points this season have come on the road, winning three and losing seven. Antoni Sarcevic ended a run of 19 games in all competitions without a goal against Sheffield United last weekend. Crawley Town v Port Vale There have been four players sent off in the four previous meetings between Crawley and Port Vale. Port Vale won both of the clashes between these two teams last season, including this exact fixture 3-0. Crawley's last three home games in League One have all ended in score draws. Port Vale are the only League One side yet to record a clean sheet away from home this season. The Red Devils have mustered just 60 shots on target this season, a league low. Crewe Alexandra v Bristol City Crewe have won two and lost none of their last three clashes with Bristol City in all competitions. Crewe were one of just two teams (also Sheffield United) that Bristol City failed to score against last season in League One. The Railwaymen are winless in six league games, the joint-longest wait for victory in League One along with Crawley and Colchester (D3 L3). Bristol City have had 14 different goalscorers this season - no side has had more. Crewe have had the fewest number of shots in League One this season (142). Gillingham v Chesterfield Gillingham have scored exactly one goal in each of their last three clashes with Chesterfield (W1 D1 L1). Chesterfield have won two of the last 13 meetings between these two sides (D3 L8). Jake Hessenthaler has recorded seven assists this season in League One, a joint-league high with Notts County's Stephen McLaughlin. The Spireites have taken just seven points from their last 10 league games, a league-low tally (W1 D4 L5). Both of these sides have won six penalties this campaign - Chesterfield have converted five, while Gillingham have scored just two. MK Dons v Oldham Athletic MK Dons have won the last two clashes between these two sides, both by the scoreline of 2-1. Oldham have won just two of their last nine clashes with MK Dons (D2 L5). MK Dons are unbeaten in 10 league fixtures, the longest current run in League One (W6 D4). The Latics have been involved in more draws in League One than anyone else this season (9). Delli Alli has scored or assisted in his last four league games for MK Dons. Daniel Johnson has been involved in four of Oldham's last five goals, scoring three and assisting another. Peterborough v Preston North End Four of the last five clashes between these two sides in the league have been won by the home side. Joe Garner scored twice in Preston's 3-1 win over Peterborough in March. The Posh have lost three consecutive home league games. They last lost three on the spin in December 2012 (a run of four games). PNE have had the most efforts on goal in League One this season (230). Peterborough have scored a joint-league high seven times from outside the area from open play this campaign Rochdale v Notts County The last two games between these sides at Spotland have been settled by a single goal (one win each). Notts County won both of the league games between these two sides in 2011/12, without conceding a goal. Rochdale have conceded six penalties this season, more than any other side. Notts County are the only League One side yet to taste defeat in an away game this season (W5 D4). Roy Carroll has made 96 saves this season, more than any other keeper. Sheffield United v Walsall The last five games in all competitions between Sheffield United and Walsall have produced just nine goals. Walsall won the Football League Trophy meeting between these two in November thanks to a 1-0 win. The Blades have scored 13 times in the final 15 minutes of games this season, a league high. However, Walsall have conceded just two in this period. Jordan Cook was involved in all three of Walsall's goals against Barnsley, scoring twice and assisting Tom Bradshaw. The Saddlers are on a six game unbeaten run in League One (W4 D2), letting just two goals in in that time. Swindon Town v Doncaster Rovers Swindon have lost just one of their last seven home league matches with Doncaster (W2 D4). Rovers have won three and lost none of their last four clashes with Swindon. The Robins have won five consecutive league games, their best run since February 2012 (a run of 10 matches). Donny have shipped six goals in the opening 15 minutes - no side has let in more than them. Andy Williams has scored 11 times this season for Swindon, equalling his tally from the 2012/13 season. Yeovil Town v Colchester Yeovil have lost just one of their last seven clashes with Colchester in all competitions (W4 D2). Colchester have won none of their last four visits to Huish Park (L4) in all competitions. The Glovers haven't won a home league game since September. They've failed to score in four of their last five at Huish Park. The U's have lost their last five league games, their worst run since being beaten nine times in a row between November 2012 and January 2013. The only side to score fewer goals in League One this season than Yeovil (18) are Crewe (16).

Re: Sky Bet League 1 > Saturday December 20th Barnsley 0 AH @1.9 bet366...I'm taking on Leyton Orient again and I've found in the last couple of weeks they've been over-rated by the bookies.Today their price is a little bit more realistic but the O's could be missing 5 strikers,Dagnall(3 goals), Henderson(5 goals) and Lisbie(1 goal, only played 3 games) are definitely out while Mooney(3 goals) and Plasmati(2 goals) are doubts.Barnsley aren't exactly setting League one on fire but they are the 6th top scorers and the third home top scorers.Unfortunately the tykes defense has been their undoing in a lot of games with 34 conceded in 20 games but Orient aren't far behind with 31.I think that the home side will outscore the visitors today,so home team not to lose for me....

Re: Sky Bet League 1 > Saturday December 20th Gillingham +0.5,+1 @ 1.475 bet366....I think Chesterfield are over-rated today and I think there is value to be had on the home side. The Gills have only lost twice at home in the league this season and Chesterfield have only won twice away. The home side could actually go level on points with the Spirites if they win today so I would have priced the two teams a little closer. On the team news front Kedwell(4 goals) seems to be back in the fold after some talks with the manager and hopefully he's found his focus. For the away side Morsy(18 app,1 goal) and Jones(17 apps) will definitely miss out through suspension and Doyle(20 apps,16 goals) is a major doubt with a hamstring problem. He has traveled with the squad but with a hectic festive fixture list coming up he may not be risked today.....

Re: Sky Bet League 1 > Saturday December 20th Crewe-Bristol Rock Bottom vs First Place. Crewe with big Problems, as they are missing 10 Players. Amongst them their captian Tootle and Vice Captain Dugdale. http://www.stokesentinel.co.uk/Crewe-Alexandra-v-Bristol-City-Davis-set-10/story-25740241-detail/story.html I played Bristol -1,25 @2,3
